Texar ACU sweatshirt - UCP

The combat shirt with ACU (Army Combat Uniform) fit is designed for use in demanding conditions, where durability and ergonomics are crucial. The design, based on military apparel, considers optimal pocket placement and adjustment elements to improve wearing comfort and ensure easy access to necessary equipment.

The production uses fabric with a Rip-Stop weave, which is a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The material's structure limits the spread of damage, increasing resistance to abrasion and tearing.

Polyester is responsible for the durability and faster drying of the material, while cotton enhances wearing comfort and breathability. Additional layers of fabric in areas particularly prone to wear extend the shirt's lifespan.

The shirt features 4 pockets designed for ease of use:

• 2 chest pockets - positioned at an angle, facilitating access even when wearing a tactical vest, closed with a velcro flap for quick opening.
• 2 shoulder pockets - provide additional space for small accessories, also closed with a velcro flap for secure content protection.

The shirt fastens with a zipper, secured with an additional velcro strip. This protects against wind penetration and keeps the zip clean.

The elbow area is equipped with a construction allowing for the insertion of internal protective pads, enhancing protection when in contact with the ground and reducing material wear in key areas.

The sleeve cuffs have velcro adjustment, allowing for wrist fitting and improving wearing comfort. The collar in a stand-up style fastened with velcro offers additional neck protection against wind and external factors.

Velcro panels on shoulder pockets and at chest height enable the attachment of identification patches and nametag-type markings. This solution allows the shirt to be adapted to specific usage.

UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern) is a digital camouflage pattern introduced at the beginning of the 21st century as a successor to US Woodland and Desert. It combines camouflage functions in various environments - forest, desert and urban - which is why shades of green and beige are combined with gray. The spot arrangement is based on the MARPAT pattern, and the pastel, low-contrast colors create a pixelated micro-pattern that blends well into the environment at short distances but merges into a uniform silhouette at greater distances. UCP showed high effectiveness in infrared, which contributed to its introduction, but it was eventually replaced by OCP camouflage based on the MultiCam pattern.
