Texar ACU Shirt - Mud Cam

A shirt in ACU (Army Combat Uniform) fit is made from a combination of cotton and polyester. Places particularly prone to abrasion have been reinforced with an additional layer of fabric.

Features:
- two slanted pockets at chest level fastened with a Velcro patch,
- two slanted pockets on shoulders with Velcro fastening,
- places for protective inserts on elbows,
- a zip fastening with a velcro flap,
- cuff adjustable with Velcro,
- collar with stand-up collar with Velcro,
- a soft Velcro trim under the patch on the shoulder pockets, at chest level (nametag).

Variant in camouflage based on A-TACS in the Mud Cam variety. It is a camouflage dedicated to use in built-up areas, where it is much more effective than the earlier ‘metro’ and UCP (ACU) camouflages. It also performs well in higher elevations and in semi-arid terrain (ARID), which is why it is sometimes worn by special forces operators in Afghanistan.

Mud Cam is a modern camouflage pattern inspired by second-generation digital systems such as A-TACS. It uses irregular, soft shapes resembling natural textures, which help effectively break up the silhouette in the field. The subdued palette of beiges, browns, and grays performs well in dry, rocky, and urban environments, providing good adaptation to the surroundings.
