Professional Expedition map compass from Swedish company Silva. It was created for advanced users who need an accurate and sophisticated navigation tool.
Expedition has received photoluminescent characters on the dial, needle and plate, whichóre significantly easier to use it in low-light conditions. The compass also features a magnifying glass, 90 mm and 1.8 inch rulers, a pendulum inclinometer and 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 scales on a soft, easy-to-bend tape. The rotating dial is equipped with a handle made of DryFlex rubber for a secure and comfortable grip.
The compass can be successfully used as a directional tool as well as a map compass. Thanks to the Romer scale, it can also be used as a support when navigating with a GPS receiver. The use of magnetic declination correction allows Expedition to be used in any part of the world.
