Ferrocerium - a reliable source of fire
The flint uses a solid ferrocerium rod - a material that is a special metal alloy - with a length of 67 mm and a diameter of 8 mm, which guarantees long life and easy handling. Just one vigorous pull of the attached spark igniter produces a dense stream of sparks, which effectively ignites the prepared fire starter. This action is possible due to the oxidation of cerium contained in the rod, which leads to its self-ignition.
The rod generates sparks with a temperature of 3000 degrees C, which makes it possible to effectively light a fire even in the rain or in low temperatures.
Easy to use, Spark igniter with bottle opener
The set includes a metal spark igniter in the form of a serrated plate, which not only effectively generates sparks, but also acts as a bottle opener. This practical solution increases its versatility in the field.

Very nice firestarter, solid handle, produces lots of sparks, perfect for trips to the forest, useful for any tourist. Highly recommended for any trip. The striker works excellently after sharpening.

Unfortunately, I have to take away one star due to the included striker – it’s poor. However, the firestarter itself works very well. Like others, I recommend using your own steel knife with the firestarter, then it’s great. I recommend it, although in my opinion the striker could be better.
