I bought it as a backup fire starter, but it’s just as good as my more expensive ferro rods. The product is coated with black paint that needs to be scraped off before first use, after which it throws sparks nicely. It’s small, so it fits perfectly in one corner of my first aid kit.

A great solution for people who don't have a lighter with them. The spark generator is included in the set, it is always at hand. It also contains a centimeter scale and a string that secures the elements from being lost.

The product was used only a few times and it already fell apart 🙄 I do not recommend buying it! I was tempted by the low price, but it's not worth the trouble. Luckily, my son had a better solution.

Simple and effective product, I have no complaints. The only downside is the edges of the spark striker – they have different shapes, so some are less comfortable for striking sparks (it may also be due to my lack of skill in using the tool).

Durable fire starter at a good price. It produces a lot of sparks, which makes it easier to start a fire even in unfavorable conditions. The sparks easily light kindling. I definitely recommend it to bushcraft enthusiasts.

I have had a hard time getting any sparks from this using the included striker so I would recommend using a knife or something else. For the price it's acceptable to buy and try to see how you get on lighting fires and if that works for you then maybe spend a bit more money on something that is higher quality especially if its something you're going to rely on.
