For this price, the backpack is really solid and spacious, the material does not get damaged. I only had to replace the zip in the large pocket because it got damaged and jammed when closing and opening.
Pentagon Tac Maven Assault Large 51 l Backpack - Wolf Grey
Large tactical backpack in grey (Wolf Grey) with a capacity of 51 liters, made of durable and abrasion-resistant 600D polyester. Perfect for survival and outdoor trips.
two main compartments, two pockets, compression straps
The model is equipped with two spacious main compartments closed with dual-direction zippers. On the front panel, there are two smaller pockets, ideal for storing everyday essentials and accessories.
The backpack's external size can be adjusted to the contents using side compression straps — two on each side. Tightening the straps reduces the volume of the backpack, for example, when the main compartment is empty and only the external pockets are filled. This improves carrying stability. Moreover, the compression straps allow you to attach extra gear such as a jacket, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, or tarp.
Adjustable shoulder straps, carry handle, hydration bladder pocket
Comfortable wide shoulder straps, a chest strap, and an adjustable hip belt make it easy to carry the backpack even over long distances. At the top, there is a carry handle for transporting it by hand. The back panel is lined with soft mesh and padded with foam, ensuring comfort during extended hikes. Beneath this padding, there is a Velcro-closed pocket designed to hold a hydration bladder.
MOLLE system, Velcro panel
The MOLLE/PALS system located on the sides and front panel allows for easy attachment of additional pouches and gear. On the smaller upper pocket, Velcro panels are added, enabling the attachment of emblems – such as flags, unit insignia, or morale patches – giving the backpack a more personalized look.

I have Brandit and Mil-Tec backpacks 36-40L and I bought the Pentagon for more capacity. Unfortunately, the size is almost identical to the 40-litre backpack. However, it is more comfortable, especially thanks to the chest strap.

I have been using this backpack for almost two years. It is spacious and practical, with two useful pockets. It's a pity there aren't a few more on the sides, otherwise the material is good, velcro on the straps is useful, and the hydration bladder pocket is a plus.
-
For this price, the backpack is really well made and very spacious. I have been using it for several years in various situations and it still works well – nothing has torn or started to fray, I only had to replace the zip in the largest pocket because a few teeth broke and it started to jam.
-
Very large capacity, and the huge advantage is the possibility to fully open it like a suitcase – it makes it easier to access things at the bottom. I recommend it!
-
The backpack is spacious, has many practical compartments and, importantly, doesn’t appear too large when carried. After adjusting the straps properly, it’s comfortable and nothing digs in. It’s hard to judge its durability yet, but it looks solid. I hope it will last me a long time.
-
Comfortable and durable backpack, a great choice for this price. The actual capacity is about 30 litres, not 51 as stated. The compression straps are comfortable and fairly long, but not long enough to attach something bigger, like a sleeping mat.
-
The backpack is very comfortable and attractively priced. It’s perfect both for the city and for single-day mountain trips. The waist and chest straps are an advantage, as well as the many pockets to organise your items.
-
The Pentagon Tac Maven Assault Large 51 l Coyote backpack seems smaller than the stated 51l. It is neat and comfortable. I was surprised there’s no Pentagon brand print, only the model name is visible. Overall, a very nice backpack, I recommend it.

This backpack is truly a great choice. Well stitched and very spacious – an extra plus for the waist and chest straps. The Velcro on the compression straps is practical, and the numerous pockets and internal compartments make it easy to organise your things. Comfortable even under heavy loads. Definitely recommended.
-
A great backpack both for trips and for the city – it attracts attention, is spacious and comfortable, costs little, and is made from durable material. It has just the right number of pockets and is the perfect size for my needs while hiking. Recommended.
-
It's a pity I didn't decide to buy this backpack earlier. It is very spacious, you can attach additional pockets and it is very well made. Nothing inside has ever got wet – it looks waterproof.
-
You can pack things for several days into the backpack – it has a large capacity, yet from the outside, it doesn’t look big. It’s durable, very spacious and has the right number of pockets inside.
-
I often travel – by train, on foot, by car. This backpack works great: it fits my electronics, food, and other necessary items. It is solid and worth its price—actually, in my opinion, it surpasses it in quality. Highly recommended.

The dimensions of the backpack listed in the description are incorrect or I received a different model. The backpack is a maximum of 46 cm high and 28 cm wide. Its capacity is not 51 litres as stated, in reality it's like the 36–40 litre backpacks. The back stiffener is poor and bends easily. It arrived folded in half, which is not possible with, for example, a Mil-Tec. I do not recommend it at this price. The quality is comparable to Brandit, worse than Mil-Tec. The backpack is going back for a return.
