This is the best headlamp I have had the opportunity to use. I delayed writing a review to make sure about its quality. If you're thinking about buying a solid torch, this will be the ideal choice. In the 300-lumen flood+spot mode, it works for even an hour longer than the manufacturer claims – I tested it from 7:30 to 16:00 while working. The amount of light is more than enough for work and moving safely at night. Great optimisation. There are two small downsides: it lacks full waterproofing (only splash-proof) and the band can loosen a bit after extended use. Nevertheless, when it comes to modes and battery life, I highly recommend it!
Olight Array 2 Pro Head Torch - 1500 lumens
Compact head torch with two high-efficiency High-Performance Cool White LEDs, generating a maximum light output of 1500 lumens with a range of up to 150 meters. The Array 2 Pro model is equipped with a dual light source, ensuring even illumination of both nearby objects and those at a greater distance.
Aluminum body, IPX4 waterproof rating
The torch housing is made of durable A6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum, coated with hard anodization for increased resistance. The construction is sealed in accordance with the IPX4 waterproof standard, providing protection against splashes and light rain from any direction.
Elastic headband, adjustable head, rear red LED lights
A flexible headband ensures comfortable wear. The head torch’s tilt angle can be adjusted within a 60-degree vertical range, allowing precise adjustment of the light direction according to individual needs. Near the charging port, red LED lights enhance rear visibility, improving safety when moving in the dark.
Advanced electronic control, 3350 mAh battery, magnetic charger
Advanced electronics ensure stable operation by precisely controlling the power delivered to the LED. As a result, the light maintains a consistent output in the selected mode until the battery is fully depleted.
The Olight Array 2 Pro model features a built-in 3350 mAh battery with a voltage of 3.6V, which charges via a magnetic USB-C cable.
The warranty covers 2 years for the torch and 1 year for the battery.
Lighting modes: Flood + Spot and Flood, red light, touchless mode switching
The Flood+Spot function allows simultaneous use of both wide and spot beams, offering different operating modes and runtime options. Additionally, a Flood mode is available, generating a wide beam with a maximum output of 800 lumens. The manufacturer has also included a red LED, ideal for outdoor use—it does not blind the user and does not disrupt night vision.
Another notable feature is the touch-free mode switching, which is activated by waving a hand in front of the torch. This is particularly useful when hands are dirty or when wearing tactical gloves.

If you care about a lightweight and comfortable Olight headlamp, this is the best option. The front light and rear battery provide excellent weight distribution – you can hardly feel it on your head.
-
This torch is my favourite. If you don’t need it for the whole night, you won’t find any faults with it. It is very bright, durable, has a red light option and is very lightweight. Definitely recommend.
-
I give the highest rating and it couldn't be otherwise :) The headlamp works brilliantly! It is very light and comfortable, perfect for running. However, it's worth remembering that the battery cannot be replaced, so during long winter nights, you may run out of power.
-
I rate the torch a 5 because it is solidly made, offers all the necessary functions and is lightweight. The only drawback is the non-replaceable battery.
-
The torch is really excellent. It has a very strong light and the battery lasts a long time, even at full power. It's a shame the battery can't be replaced and the USB-C cap could be better, but overall the quality of the torch is outstanding. At the highest setting, it gets quite warm but doesn’t burn your forehead. I am very pleasantly surprised – the product is definitely worth the price.

This is my fifth Olight torch and, as always, the build quality is excellent. I saw that some users have complaints about the motion sensor for gesture control – you don’t need to cover it with tape, just quickly double press the button with the torch off and hold it the second time until the red light comes on – this deactivates gestures, and activating works the same way. The module with lenses is very small – Perun 2 Mini size. I’ve also heard opinions that the torch isn't waterproof – that’s not true, it’s rain and storm resistant, you just shouldn’t submerge it in water.
-
I've been using this torch for about 5 months and I must admit, it is very well made. I mostly use it for cycling in the forest and in my opinion, the road illumination is more than sufficient and gesture control is very convenient and intuitive. The only downside is when working as an electrician assembling switchboards – the motion sensor sometimes accidentally changes the light mode, but you can get used to it. At this price, you probably won't find a better option.
-
The head torch is very lightweight and comfortable. Gesture control – both sideways and vertically – works very well regardless of the lighting mode. Olight simply keeps up the standards.
-
The operating time matches the description, I often use it during site visits in buildings without electricity, as well as for night work or in low light. When used on high power for longer periods, it heats up significantly and can be irritating on the forehead – this applies to the highest settings. Sweat sometimes causes it to switch modes by itself, which can be annoying. However, the torch is solid – it has fallen several times from a considerable height and still works. Satisfied with the power and durability, I can recommend it.
-
Olight Array 2 Pro is a very good headlamp – it offers a lot of features and is powerful for its size. The biggest advantages are its water resistance and comfortable strap.
-
Of all the headlamps available on Militaria, in my opinion, this one performs best. It has as much as 45 lumens of red light, which is very useful when camping and bushcrafting. I’ve tested many headlamps and the red light in this one really works brilliantly at night. Additionally, the runtime is really long and the build quality is impressive. The only downside is the lack of waterproofing – personally, I would prefer a headlamp that could survive at least a few minutes under water up to two metres deep, but that's just my requirement. In general, in terms of parameters, this headlamp stands out among others.
-
The light is very strong, the strap is comfortable, the weight is well distributed on the head and the torch doesn't shift while being used. The battery lasts exceptionally long, I’m not sure if as long as described, but it definitely lasts a very long time.
-
The perfect head torch. The red light is strong enough to still be visible in tactical situations. Fortunately, the various power modes help to solve this problem.
-
Highly recommend. At this price, it’s worth buying! Gesture control is a great solution if you have gloves on or dirty hands. The torch is very bright and has a capacious battery. Super product.
