Olight Perun 3 OD Green Head Torch and Angled Torch with band - 3000 lumens

This was a very good purchase, as the torch is exceptionally versatile – it's both a headlamp and an angled torch in one device. It shines very brightly (up to 3000 lm), has red LEDs and a large metal button, so it's easy to use even with gloves. The built-in magnet allows it to be attached to metal surfaces, and the proximity sensor automatically adjusts the brightness when near objects, protecting the LEDs. The 21700 battery (5000 mAh) provides a really long runtime, and the lightweight yet sturdy aluminium casing weighs only 150 g. The IP68 certificate guarantees protection against dust and water. It's great for night trips, camping, and everyday use as an EDC – definitely worth it!

Great torch – gives a lot of light, has many lighting modes and I like the way the beam is focused. The battery is capacious and easy to charge. Additional advantages include the lanyard, clip, and headband. The only downside is the strap on the headband is too soft vertically, so the torch presses hard on the eyebrows. Slightly raising the torch on your forehead solves this problem, but it is still noticeable.

The torch is made from high-quality materials, shines over a long distance and has a long battery life. A minor downside is that it gets hot very quickly in turbo mode, but with such a design, it’s hard to avoid. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

Hi! I previously used the Aray model, but the battery was too weak for me. Then I bought the Perun 1, but after two years the switch broke (fortunately they replaced the device with a Perun 2 thanks to the 5-year warranty). Unfortunately, this version no longer had red LEDs. Now I have been using it every day for over two years and the only thing that needs replacing is the stretched strap. Now the Perun 3 model with red light has appeared, which I intend to buy – it looks like they've also introduced other improvements, such as returning to rear battery access like in the first version. I will update the review after a month of use.

This is practically the ideal headlamp. It's very solidly made, gives out lots of light, has a high-capacity battery and scatters the light impressively. You can tell Olight has taken the development of this product category seriously, which is worth appreciating.

I definitely recommend this headlamp. It works both outdoors (it performed flawlessly during a scouting camp in the forest) and for everyday use. The strap is comfortable and doesn't pinch, and the clips and connectors are made from high-quality materials.

The torch is excellent – for me, the biggest advantage is the ability to turn on the red light without first activating the white light (in most torches, the white light comes on first, then the red). The proximity sensor works well, and the steel bracket sits securely on the head. A downside is the need to take the original charger on multi-day trips.

The torch is very well made and extremely powerful, especially in TURBO mode. The red LED is useful for night outings. I’m deducting one star for the poorly designed strap – its mount could scratch the torch’s body when fitting it. Other than that, it’s a very good piece of equipment.

Olight - top quality. The torch has all the necessary functions, above all 5 white light modes (including an impressive turbo 3000 lm!) and 2 red light modes. The 21700 lithium-ion battery offers a much greater capacity than 18650. It's worth remembering that this torch gives diffused light, so it has a shorter range.
