The torch looks very good—it is powerful, solidly built, and works excellently as a head torch during night hikes. The red light mode is also a big plus, and the option to quickly detach it from the headband means it can also be used like a classic handheld torch. The housing construction seems durable, so I would have no concerns about taking it out in the rain or in more demanding conditions. It is a bit heavier than standard head torches, but with this level of power and build quality, that does not bother me at all.

Olight Perun 3 Dream Blue Head and Angle torch with headband - 3000 lumens
Angled torch equipped with 3 powerful Cool White LED 9W with TIR optics, providing a maximum light output of 3000 lumens and a range of up to 160 metres. The torch head also features an additional Red Max LED 1.5W emitting red light with a maximum output of 60 lumens.
A6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium, IP68 rating
The sturdy body with a non-slip texture is made of A6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium coated with Type III hard anodisation. The torch has been sealed with an O-ring system in accordance with the IP68 standard, which means total resistance to dust ingress, and resistance to immersion to a depth of up to 2 metres for 30 minutes.

21700 5000 mAh rechargeable battery, magnetic charger
The Perun 3 torch is powered by the included 21700 5000 mAh rechargeable battery. The rechargeable battery is charged via the Olight MCC3 2A USB magnetic charger (included). The battery is installed by unscrewing the rear cap. The cap is flat and allows the torch to be placed vertically. In addition, the cap contains a strong magnet, so you can attach the torch to any steel surface. The torch notifies you of a low battery charge (less than 10%) by vibrating repeatedly every 30 seconds. An advanced electronic system controls the current consumption directed to the LEDs, so that the torch shines in the selected mode with the same power until the battery is completely discharged. An electronic system protects against LED overheating in the highest mode, which reduces the current after 2 minutes and stabilises the light at 800 lumens, and after another 180 minutes, at 600 lumens.
Proximity sensor, headband, spring clip
The torch is equipped with a proximity sensor, so that the light output will be automatically reduced when the torch head is brought close to an object. The kit comes with a headband with a durable steel mounting bracket, so the torch can be used as a head torch. The headband is made of lightweight, breathable material, and a silicone strap provides extra protection from sweat. Convenient carrying is provided by a removable spring clip, so you can clip the torch to the edge of your pocket or gear strap.

Excellent torch, I use it when it's dark at home, going down to the basement, outside or during various trips. It illuminates a wide area, so it easily brightens whole rooms. The headband is very comfortable and can be adjusted. A trip to a cave would be useful now to fully test its capabilities.
