Unfortunately, at this price, the torch is worse than I expected. It's great in winter because when you switch it on it heats up the room, converting more energy into heat than into light. The lighting time suggests a typically Chinese approach to the Western market. At the highest brightness modes, it quickly reduces it to protect the LED, which is not particularly well matched in terms of efficiency and ability to dissipate heat.
The MH12 Pro torch features a NiteLab LED UHi 4 with a maximum light output of 3,300 lumens and a range of up to 505 meters.
The sturdy housing is made of HA III anodized aircraft aluminum. The durable body and sealing ensure resistance to drops from 1m and IP68 water resistance. In addition, the lenses are protected with a scratch-resistant coating on both sides.
The model is powered by a 21700 battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh (included). The design also allows it to be powered by 18650 batteries. It is equipped with a built-in USB-C port for charging batteries without disassembling the torch, and a charge indicator that displays the battery level.
It uses Precision Digital Optics Technology (PDOT) to amplify the intensity of the light beam, five power levels and three special modes (SOS, beacon and strobe). The Advanced Temperature Regulation ( ATR) system protects the equipment from overheating.
In addition, a built-in optical sensor reduces brightness when an obstacle is detected at close range and a highly efficient current circuit (Non PWM) prevents flickering.

The torch is excellent. The amount of light coming from such a small device is impressive... the double switch and the mode indicators are great advantages. Perfect for EDC and for mounting on a carbine.

Very nice torch – comfortable to carry and use, perfect as everyday equipment. The battery lasts a very long time. I highly recommend it!

This is my first EDC torch, so I don't have much to compare it to. It's quite comfortable in a trouser pocket given its power, although it fits better in a hoodie or jacket pocket. The casing has a very aggressive texture, which is especially noticeable without gloves. It has several options: - 'everyday' mode, where the front button changes the light intensity from lowest to turbo, remembering the last used level. - 'tactical' mode – always starts at turbo mode, then you move to lower brightness levels. This mode is useful for self-defence or dazzling an attacker. - you can also combine appropriate buttons to get 1 lumen (for close use without risk of blinding yourself), strobe (3300 lm, also for self-defence), beacon (flashing position light), or SOS mode (Morse code signal). The downside is the lack of available adapters for other types of batteries, like CR123 or 18650 batteries. From what I've seen in pictures, these are usually simple pieces of plastic and a bit of copper, so maybe it's possible to find a DIY solution to this problem.

Fantastic torch. I tested it and it made a big impression on me – it has excellent range, a strong battery, and also illuminates well to the sides. It’s already in the glove compartment and I'll be placing an order soon.
