Mil-Tec US Jungle Boots - Olive

I've been wearing the shoes since February this year, about 3 hours daily while walking the dog in the forest. Overall, the price-to-quality ratio is poor – I expected something better based on reviews. The shoes look good, fit well and are comfortable, but after just a month the laces got ruined, the sole is almost worn out, and the "leather" cracked despite proper care. In my opinion, they are good for one season; I'm not sure they'll last until next February.

The shoes have an attractive appearance, and the sole is practical, as almost nothing sticks to it except some small grains of sand and other tiny items. Unfortunately, the problem is the drainage holes, which are supposed to let water out.

There's no need to elaborate – these are my favourite summer shoes. They are light, comfortable, durable, and look good. This is already my fourth pair, with short breaks, over 20 years.

My previous Panamas from Mil Tec lasted me 5 years of daily use, for school, airsoft, and work – sturdy shoes, the best at this price. The current newer version with "waterproof leather" cracked after just 2 months of light use, and they even started coming apart at the seams. I do not recommend them, unfortunately, Mil Tec used to make really good and reasonably priced shoes. I give 3/10 points for those who want stiff, hefty trainers.

The shoes are alright, but the previous version was much better. The earlier ones were immediately comfortable after putting them on, but now the manufacturer has cut corners – I know you can't expect miracles at this price, but after three days of wearing, they are still tight. The previous edition had a soft, comfortable insole, now the sole is hard and looks plastic. On the plus side, the sizing hasn't changed. Next time I'll go for a different model, as this one has gone downhill.

The Panama-type sole is supposed to prevent mud from sticking, but at the first contact with mud, the whole sole gets covered and is very slippery, like slick tyres in the rain. The shoes look good, but that's their only advantage.

The shoes are very aesthetic. After purchasing an inexpensive 'comfort' insole and putting on higher socks (because the nylon can stick to damp skin), they become very comfortable. My only reservation is the quality of the leather – although the shoes are cheap, the leather started to crack quickly even with regular polishing, but the shoes themselves are still holding up well.

This is already my second pair. I wore the first one in summer with short cargo shorts – they are very light and airy. They work well during walks with the dog through forests and parks. The Mil-Tec insole adds extra comfort. I always order online and in size 45. In this model, the shoes are half a centimetre longer than in the same size usually.

Fantastic shoes! Very durable, well made, and comfortable. They don't rub, which often happens to me with other shoes. You can walk in them in the forest, ruins, and other bushcraft or urban exploration areas. Highly recommended!

The shoes are iconic, which is why I bought them (unfortunately from another store because militaria.pl didn't have my size). They are very comfortable and work well both in the field and for everyday city use. After adding an extra insole, I can wear them for many hours. My feet don't sweat and the comfort is high. I plan to buy the black version in the spring, I hope size 44 will be available.

I bought these shoes for mushroom picking. They're sturdy, but as a replica and a cheap product, you can't expect wonders. I deduct one star because after removing the insoles, it turned out that the top part of the sole is made of cardboard. These are not shoes for wild terrain. It's worth noting that this is the W model, meaning a wide fit, which wasn't mentioned in the description.

I bought the shoes about a year ago, not from this shop, but it's the same model and size. They served me daily and at work, all year round. They went with me on walks in the forest, trips to factories, at the shooting range. During that time I cleaned them about once a week with regular shoe polish. The shoes are comfortable, although I recommend buying cushioning insoles, especially if you walk often on hard surfaces. With proper care, they'll last a long time, although after a year the sole on my left shoe started to come a bit loose. The laces wore out quickly and I replaced them with paracord. It's also worth singeing loose threads with a lighter. Overall rating: a solid 4.5/5, especially considering the price and intensity of use.

The shoes are really comfortable.

Absolute hit! I bought them ten years ago and used them all year round. In winter, two pairs of socks (one thick) are enough and my feet don't sweat at all. In summer, thanks to the ventilation and mesh, I never had wet socks, even after a whole day outdoors. The thick sole works great in tough conditions. The best shoes I've ever bought!
