Lowa Zephyr MID MK2 Boots - Desert

The shoes are excellent, the best model I have had. There is plenty of room for the toes, nothing causes chafing, and despite having narrow feet, I can fit them well with the laces. I chose the non-Gore-Tex variant and they work great for a long time – compared to the Haix Black Eagle Desert, my feet almost don’t sweat, and I don’t get any chafing or numbness.

I definitely recommend them – the shoes are very comfortable, this is my second pair of Zephyrs and I am equally satisfied with both. The version without Gore-Tex is ideal for summer – light, breathable, and the new MK2 has a much better sole that doesn’t slip like the first model.

Although the boots are lightweight and branded, in my opinion, they are not suitable for narrow feet – they simply don't fit them. Even after adjustments by a cobbler, little could be done. They are better for looks than for tactical tasks.

I am very pleased! These shoes without a membrane are light and breathable, and have a very comfortable upper – there are no pressure points, even when I lace them tightly. After the first use and waterproofing, I walked and ran about 15 kilometres through forests. I didn’t get any chafing or blisters. The shoes have a low drop and gentle cushioning, but even so, they are comfortable to run in on the trail. The sole is rather thin and you can really feel the ground – these are shoes more for low mountains, but they hold really well, even on slippery roots along the way. There is just enough space for your toes. I have wide feet and fit without any problem, though they are not as wide as Altras. After a few weeks, when they break in a bit more, they will be perfect.

These are great, lightweight and comfortable boots, and at the same time very solid. The quality of workmanship is at a very high level. I especially recommend them to people who are hesitating – definitely worth the price. Don't hesitate, it's worth buying!

These boots are a classic in an improved version, they need no special introduction. I recommend them to everyone, they work well in all conditions, and for long marches they are ideal thanks to their good ankle support and lightness.
