Lowa Zephyr MID MK2 Boots - Desert

The shoes are excellent, this is the best model I have ever owned. There is plenty of room for the toes, nothing causes blisters, and despite my narrow feet, they can be well adjusted with the laces. I chose the non-Gore-Tex version and they work great for a long time – compared to the Haix Black Eagle Desert, my feet hardly sweat, and I have no blisters or numbness.

I definitely recommend these shoes – they are very comfortable. This is already my second pair of Zephyrs and I am equally satisfied with both. The version without Gore-Tex is perfect for summer – light, breathable, and the new MK2 model has a much better sole, which doesn’t slip like in the first version.

Although the shoes are lightweight and branded, in my opinion they work poorly for narrow feet – they simply aren’t suitable. Even after repairs at the shoemaker, there wasn’t much that could be done. Better for looks than for tactical tasks.

I am very satisfied! These shoes without a membrane are light and breathable, with a very comfortable upper — there are no pressure points, even when I lace them tightly. After the first wear and waterproofing, I covered and ran about 15 kilometers through forests. I didn't get any blisters or chafing. The shoes have a low drop and gentle cushioning, but they're still comfortable to run with on the trail. The sole is rather thin and lets you feel the ground well — these shoes are better for lower mountains, but they grip even slippery roots on the trail very well. There's just enough room for the toes. I have wide feet and have no problem fitting in, though they're not as wide as Altras. After a few weeks, as they break in, they'll be perfect.

These are great, lightweight and comfortable shoes, and at the same time very solid. The quality of workmanship is at a very high level. I especially recommend them to people who are hesitating – they are definitely worth their price. Don't hesitate, it's worth buying!

These shoes are a classic in an improved version, they don't need a special introduction. I recommend them to everyone, they work well in all conditions, and for long hikes they are ideal thanks to good ankle stabilization and lightness.
