I previously had the Lowa Breacher N GTX model, but spending 16 hours in them at a temperature of around 30°C was very exhausting. I bought the Zephyrs, and they are in a completely different league. They are lightweight, highly breathable, and provide great comfort — even after 25 kilometres of walking in the mountains, I did not feel any discomfort. These are the best boots I have had so far.
Lowa Zephyr MID MK2 Boots - Dark Brown
Brown tactical boots with lightweight construction, made from a combination of durable suede leather and breathable Cordura material. They will work well for uniformed services and as versatile urban and off-road footwear.
Lowa Monowrap technology
The Zephyr MK2 has a Lowa Monowrap midsole, which offers excellent support, stabilizing the foot and protecting it from shocks. The insole is replaceable, which helps keep the inside of the shoe dry.
Ankle brace system, toe and heel protection
An ankle brace system with a soft collar effectively prevents injury, while additional layers of material and an over-molded rubber outsole protect the toes and heels from damage.
Lowa X-TRAC Military sole, Slip Resistance
Stability while navigating the terrain is provided by the cushioned Lowa X-TRAC Military rubber sole with a deeply carved tread for great grip on a variety of surfaces. Slip Resistance technology prevents slipping on slippery and greasy surfaces.
Durable laces, low profile, metal grommets
The upper uses low-profile metal grommets, which allow quick tying, and the lower grommets are made of soft webbing, eliminating the risk of foot pressure. The shoes are equipped with durable laces, color-matched to the overall design.

Monowrap is a three-dimensional shoe sole construction technology developed by Lowa. The combination of an injection-molded polyurethane rubber frame along with an outsole and cushioning foam provides better stability and protection for the foot. The sole form absorbs shock and supports the natural movement of the foot when walking.
Lowa Multi Trac is a special tread design in the sole based on a triangular profile. Due to its design, it provides optimal traction and stability on various surfaces, as well as comfortable and natural rolling of the foot.

The shoes are comfortable. I deliberately chose the model without GTX so they would be lighter and more breathable. It’s a good idea to apply a waterproofing treatment so they absorb less moisture. So far, everything is fine with them.

These shoes are excellent. I’ve always had trouble finding the right size for my “unusual” feet, and here the sizing turned out to be perfect. After a few training sessions, I ran the entire Grom Challenge in them, and they performed brilliantly. Despite being completely submerged in water, I didn’t get any blisters, and my foot remained stable. That’s a really big and positive difference compared with other shoes of this kind. I definitely recommend them!

I won’t say anything new or exceptional here — all of this has already been mentioned before. These are definitely the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Walking 30,000 steps without feeling any burning in your feet is the best recommendation possible.

Shoes without a membrane are lightweight and highly breathable, and the upper is very comfortable — even when laced tightly, it does not create pressure points. On the very first use, I walked about 6 kilometres in them through the woods and ended up with no chafing or blisters. The shoe has a low profile and subtle cushioning, but even so it provides quite comfortable walking on the trail. The sole is rather thin, which lets you feel the ground well. In other words, you can feel stones underfoot, which may seem unusual for tactical footwear. Even so, I rate the build quality very highly.

These are very good shoes. The non-GTX version is lighter and more breathable, making it great for warmer, dry days. In addition, they are highly durable, so over longer use their price becomes more justified. The only downside is the rather slippery sole, which does not quite meet the standards of tactical footwear in this price category. Even so, this is solid, well-made footwear worth considering.

Zephyrs are one of my favourite shoes, just after trail runners. Previously, I used the GTX version, but for summer I chose the model without a membrane and there’s a notable difference. Both versions are extremely comfortable, but the lighter one keeps your feet from sweating in the summer. The shoes are fairly resistant to wear, although they can be slippery on wet rocks. I really like the insoles – I have no issues with them. Overall, these are really great shoes.

I chose the model without a membrane to ensure better ventilation and breathability. After a few days of use, I can initially say that the shoe meets these expectations. The only drawback, unrelated to quality, is that the version without a membrane costs more than the one with Gore-Tex, so in practice, you pay extra for not having a membrane. #unboxing Military

Boots feels really good, materials feel nice. In my opinion, the insole could be better, but it's hard to say as I don't have much experience with this type of boot.

I own the GTX version of these boots and these as a pair are roughly 200g lighter which doesn’t sound like much but it is a noticeable difference when holding each boot. Unlike the GTX version there was no break-in period and these boots were instantly comfortable. I really like the dark brown version they fit with NATO olive colours really well. Finally after walking 7 miles in them my socks were dry afterwards so they are way more breathable which is perfect for the warmer months of the year.

The boots left a very positive impression. They combine the lightness and comfort of trainers with the reliability of full-fledged tactical footwear. The foot is well supported, even during long marches or active movement, and the sole provides excellent grip on different surfaces.

I bought these shoes as versatile and sturdy footwear for summer – I used them for trekking (around 600 km, from Kashubian forests to the Lofoten and Abisko), and they also work well at the shooting range and during 'dirty' jobs. The shoes are indeed durable: no cracks appeared at the bends, and the sole survived tough conditions on granite mountains. The sole is not very stiff and does not provide much cushioning – this is good for daily use and light trekking, but it performs worse in demanding terrain or with a heavy backpack. The shoes have a wide fit, and the original insole turned out to be uncomfortable, so I had to buy a better one to stabilise my foot. In summary: great, universal shoes, but you have to accept a few compromises. If someone needs footwear for tougher conditions, I would recommend the Z-6N or Z-8N models instead.

The shoes are excellent, the best model I have had. There is plenty of room for the toes, nothing causes chafing, and despite having narrow feet, I can fit them well with the laces. I chose the non-Gore-Tex variant and they work great for a long time – compared to the Haix Black Eagle Desert, my feet almost don’t sweat, and I don’t get any chafing or numbness.
-
I definitely recommend them – the shoes are very comfortable, this is my second pair of Zephyrs and I am equally satisfied with both. The version without Gore-Tex is ideal for summer – light, breathable, and the new MK2 has a much better sole that doesn’t slip like the first model.
