These are the best high boots I have ever had. They stand out for both durability and comfort, which is why they are my absolute number one. I use them every day in the field and during winter. Even after more than a year, they are still just as comfortable and provide good foot stability. It is true that the insole had to be replaced after a year, but considering how intensively I use this footwear, that is still an excellent result. From my point of view, they are worth every penny spent.

Gore-Tex membrane, interchangeable Kinetic Z insoles

Lowa X-TRAC Military outsole and Double Injection DuraPU midsole
Stable movement in the field is ensured by the cushioned rubber Lowa X-TRAC Military outsole with a profiled tread that provides very good grip on various types of surfaces. The sole uses Slip Resistance technology, which protects against slipping on wet and greasy surfaces. The Zephyr GTX MK2 model is equipped with a Double Injection DuraPU midsole, which provides maximum support for the foot, stabilising it perfectly and protecting it against impacts.
quick lacing, loop, toe and heel protection, pockets
Low-profile metal and nylon eyelets for shoelaces allow quick lacing. The high upper protects the ankle joint against injuries. The footwear is equipped with pockets made of elastic material, located on the tongues and used for securing tied shoelaces. Toe and heel protection is provided by an additional layer of material and an overmolded part of the rubber sole. A small loop at the back of the upper makes it easier to take the boots off and put them on.
EU PPE standard (CE EN ISO 20347: 2012)
The boots comply with the European EU PPE standard (CE EN ISO 20347: 2012), which classifies them as approved personal protective equipment - occupational footwear.

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.
Gore-Tex is a thin membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), which features a microporous structure. Its structure makes it highly water- and wind-resistant, as well as breathable. The membrane's pores are 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor, which allows it to efficiently wick moisture to the outside. Gore-Tex is widely used in the production of outdoor clothing and footwear.
X-Trac Military is a special type of outsole, which, thanks to its design and rubber construction, features anti-slip properties. It provides protection against slipping on slippery, wet and oily surfaces, while maintaining adequate grip.
Double Injection DuraPU is the technology that defines the construction method of the midsole, which uses direct injection of polyurethane in the form of resilient foam to significantly improve the robustness of the profile. DuraPU's cushioning zones enhance the shoe's durability and performance, providing stability and absorbing shock from walking.
Slip Resistance is a technology used in the shoe's sole, which is highly slip-resistant thanks to its special design and rubber compound. It provides slip protection on slippery, wet and oily surfaces, as well as traction on varied surfaces.
EN ISO 20347:2012 is an international standard that specifies requirements for professional footwear for professional use. Footwear meeting this standard provides foot protection in the form of anti-slip, anti-static, shock-absorbing properties and resistance to oily and petroleum-based substances, but does not have to be equipped with a protective toecap. ISO certification confirms that the manufacturer meets certain standards for personal protective equipment.

I bought these shoes for my husband for his birthday. He works in the military and is very satisfied with them. They are made of good-quality material, are comfortable, and breathe well, so his feet do not sweat, and even after a long day at work, he does not feel any pain in his legs.

These are very good shoes — comfortable, well made, and durable. They perform excellently both on longer walks and on rough terrain, while also providing proper support for the foot. In my pair, after two years of use, there have still been no defects or problems.

I rate these boots 3/5. It must be admitted that they are very comfortable and work well in spring and summer. Additionally, they are noticeably lighter than single-piece boots, which makes them suitable for running. Unfortunately, their waterproofing is practically almost nonexistent — after a full day in the field in light rain or heavy dew, wet socks are almost guaranteed, and consequently also chafing, which I have tested many times. Lowa brand waterproofing treatment does not really improve the situation, and the material becomes stiff after using it. After less than two years, the material started cracking in the flex points, as can be seen in the attached photos. Are they worth buying? That depends on the nature of the activities and individual needs — for people working mainly in staff roles, they will be suitable, but if someone actually spends a lot of time active in the field, it is better to consider a different model. The sizing matches the description.

These shoes are worth the price; they’re among the best I’ve had. They are very comfortable, practical, and waterproof. They have a hard sole and perform excellently on duty.

Very comfortable shoes from the very first wear, with excellent ankle support. The sole offers good grip, and the Gore-Tex is truly a great feature. The finish is superb and gives an impression of very high quality.

I wouldn’t call these shoes particularly durable. They’re not bad, but after a year of use, both developed holes near the big toe joint. They held up through 4 winter days in the mountains, although they eventually got soaked — then again, after two days of walking in wet ankle-deep snow, that’s hard to be surprised about. For everyday use, they were worn rather lightly, and only from time to time did they face tougher conditions, such as winter mountains. They’re fairly comfortable, but you need to be careful when choosing the size, because they really do squeeze the little toes, which get pressed too hard against the others. They also don’t perform well on wet metal and similar surfaces, because they simply slip. My friends who have the same model noticed exactly the same problems, so holes or a slippery sole on certain surfaces seem to be pretty standard. With more intensive use, some of these flaws would probably show up even faster. To sum up: these are quite good shoes, as long as you know and accept their limitations.

I can’t recommend these shoes, even though I’ve already used several Lowa models as well as footwear from other reputable brands. The biggest problem, which I’ve also heard about from many other people, is pressure on the little toe — after three months of wearing them, I ended up with a blister there myself. In my opinion, the Gore-Tex membrane does not work at all, because all it takes is a walk through wet grass and your socks are soaked. The shoes do not wick away moisture, even though I tested them both with merino socks and with other socks recommended by Lowa. The worst experience was during a 25-kilometre march — I had never had blisters after such a distance before, and in these shoes I ended up with an exceptionally large number of them. When I changed my socks after 15 kilometres, I regretted not choosing my tried-and-tested military issue boots from the Ministry of National Defence. I definitely do not recommend this model.

They fit perfectly and perform reliably at work. A nice, higher-cut model, very comfortable. Great colour. Most importantly, they’re comfortable and quickly adapt to the foot.

Size: 47
I definitely recommend Lowa shoes—they are lightweight, durable, and breathable. The only downside is that they are a bit difficult to clean, which is why I'm giving 4 stars. Other than that, they are really worth buying, and the size was a good fit.

These is by far the best, most comfortable boots I’ve ever used! They keep feet completely dry in any water whether it be sea, river or lake, handle mud brilliantly and the high upper gives great ankle support. I highly recommend these.
-
I bought these shoes with the commando run in mind. They are exceptionally comfortable and provide good ankle support. They are great for both running and walking, but their drawback is the lack of waterproofing.
-
The shoes proved themselves during several mountain hikes – they are light and very comfortable, you can hardly feel them on your feet during warm, sunny days. Unfortunately, problems arise when it rains and gets muddy – then the sole becomes very slippery, and the material soaks quickly without proper waterproofing. You also have to bear in mind that the material of the shoes can get worn out, come unglued or develop holes after a few months.
-
The shoes are very sturdy. I encourage you to buy them. Well made and durable. I bought them for my husband, who is very happy with them – they are high, comfortable, and well reinforced.
-
The shoes are comfortable and work great during long walks, they provide good support for the foot, but the waterproofing does not meet expectations at this price. In low temperatures (below 0, -5), the cold is very noticeable.
