I wore this sweatshirt for the first time on open water on a very hot day, when it was nearly 40 degrees outside. Even so, I felt better in it than in just a t-shirt. The material is very breathable and does not restrict movement – it really is worth having.

Helikon-Tex MCDU Combat Shirt NyCo Rip-Stop - MultiCam
A functional and durable tactical Combat Shirt designed as part of the Modern Battle Dress Uniform (MBDU). The sleeves are made of NYCO fabric – a blend of cotton and nylon characterised by high resistance to abrasion and tearing. The central part of the shirt is made of elastic and breathable TopCool polyester fabric, which guarantees a good fit and full freedom of movement.
Shoulder pockets with YKK zips and Velcro panels
Both sleeves are equipped with pockets secured with YKK zippers, complemented by double velcro panels measuring 6 x 4 cm and 9.5 x 9 cm. These allow for attaching various types of emblems - from flags, through unit insignia, to morale patches. This gives the sweatshirt the ability to be personalized and tailored to the user’s individual preferences.
Adjustable cuffs, reinforced zones, collar with cover
The Velcro-adjustable cuffs allow for a precise fit to the wrist circumference. The elbow area has been additionally reinforced with stitching, which increases wear resistance in the most exposed areas. The design is complemented by a high collar with a zip, finished with a soft chin guard.

MultiCam Camouflage
MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.

I am very satisfied with the purchase of this Combat. I recently tested it at the shooting range under intense sunlight and it worked perfectly – the material is breathable, does not cause overheating, and is comfortable without restricting movement. I rate the quality of workmanship highly – both the stitching and the fabrics seem very solid. The wz.93 camouflage looks excellent, which is why I decided to buy a second one for my brother as well. At this moment, we are both very pleased with this choice.

The combat shirt presents a very high standard, although it has a significant drawback. It is very comfortable and easily fits under the Helikon MBDU blouse. The sleeves are looser, while the torso fits great. The size is as described and the high collar is a plus. But what is a nuisance? The material from which the body part is made. It feels pleasant to the touch and is airy, but it is not very resistant to mechanical damage – it resembles sports shirt material. It easily snags and pills, which is less important but still worth noting. How it will perform with prolonged wear with a backpack or vest is hard to say, but I'm not entirely convinced. Despite this flaw, I consider it one of the best options in this price range.

This is one of my best purchases in this shop – I already have two models, one patterned, the other in olive, and both look great. Seems nice but very small over chest and belly in size. Sleeves are normal size and length. Somewhat weird fabric in the middle and feels like it needs a shirt underneath.

The sweatshirt appears to be made from durable fabrics. It works great on hot days. You can attach Velcro patches to it. Size L is ideal for someone just under 190 cm tall with an average build. It is long, so there is no risk of it coming out of your trousers. There are two pockets on the shoulders for small essentials.
