Helikon-Tex MCDU Combat Shirt NyCo Rip-Stop - MultiCam
A functional and durable tactical Combat Shirt designed as part of the Modern Battle Dress Uniform (MBDU). The sleeves are made of NYCO fabric – a blend of cotton and nylon characterized by high resistance to abrasion and tearing. The central part of the shirt is made of elastic and breathable TopCool polyester fabric, which guarantees a good fit and full freedom of movement.
Shoulder pockets with YKK zippers and Velcro panels
Both sleeves are equipped with pockets secured with YKK zippers, complemented by double velcro panels measuring 6 x 4 cm and 9.5 x 9 cm. These allow for attaching various types of emblems - from flags, through unit insignia, to morale patches. This gives the sweatshirt the ability to be personalized and tailored to the user’s individual preferences.
Adjustable cuffs, reinforced zones, collar with cover
The Velcro-adjustable cuffs allow for a precise fit to the wrist circumference. The elbow area has been additionally reinforced with stitching, which increases wear resistance in the most exposed areas. The design is complemented by a high collar with a zipper, finished with a soft chin guard.

I am very satisfied with the purchase of this Combat. I recently tested it at the shooting range in intense sunlight and it worked perfectly – the material is breathable, does not cause overheating, and is comfortable and does not restrict movement. I rate the workmanship highly – both the seams and the fabrics seem very solid. The wz.93 camouflage looks excellent, which is why I decided to buy a second one for my brother as well. For now, we are both very satisfied with this choice.

The sweatshirt material on the torso is very comfortable to wear and provides a high level of comfort and temperature regulation. The sleeves are made from a slightly stiffer material and are therefore less soft, but they offer better protection for airsoft. Hits from BBs on the arms are noticeably more bearable. The sleeves run a bit longer on me, which is actually more of an advantage for airsoft, as it keeps the wrists better protected.

The shirt gives a really high-quality impression and is overall very comfortable to wear. It is light, breathable, and dries quickly. The cut fits close to the body, but at the shoulders and sleeves it is a bit looser, and the sleeves are slightly longer than what I'm used to. The material on the sleeves is also somewhat stiffer than on the torso, which is probably normal for this type of combat shirt. Overall, it's a very well-made shirt with good workmanship and a fair price.

I have been using this sweatshirt for two years, both during training and tactical competitions. It is extremely durable and very comfortable. The only downside is that the cuffs become a bit stiff when fastened with Velcro.

This is definitely my favorite combat – it's stylish, durable, and well-stitched. I don’t overheat in it and there are no visible sweat stains. I deduct one star because after crawling on grass, the shirt got slightly snagged. I should also mention that the sleeves are quite tight around the biceps, but it should be fine for people who don’t work out.

The shirt has a perfect fit. The fabric on the chest, stomach, and back feels firmer and more durable, while still being breathable. The sleeves have a very good length — they can be slightly rolled up or worn tightened with the Velcro. It does not restrict free movement of the upper body. There is enough extra room to allow comfortable movement even when the body is sweaty and the shirt sticks to the skin, while still keeping a clean, fitted look. Together with the Helikon-Tex MCDU DyNyCo Rip-Stop trousers, it makes an exceptionally good tactical clothing combination, and visually it looks top-quality as well. The prices here are the best I found in Europe, with delivery available to another EU country.
