Helikon-Tex MCDU Combat Shirt NyCo Rip-Stop - MultiCam

A functional and durable tactical Combat Shirt designed as part of the Modern Battle Dress Uniform (MBDU). The sleeves are made of NYCO fabric – a blend of cotton and nylon characterized by high resistance to abrasion and tearing. The central part of the shirt is made of elastic and breathable TopCool polyester fabric, which guarantees a good fit and full freedom of movement.

Both sleeves are equipped with pockets secured with YKK zippers, complemented by double velcro panels measuring 6 x 4 cm and 9.5 x 9 cm. These allow for attaching various types of emblems - from flags, through unit insignia, to morale patches. This gives the sweatshirt the ability to be personalized and tailored to the user’s individual preferences.

The Velcro-adjustable cuffs allow for a precise fit to the wrist circumference. The elbow area has been additionally reinforced with stitching, which increases wear resistance in the most exposed areas. The design is complemented by a high collar with a zipper, finished with a soft chin guard.

MultiCam is an advanced camouflage design created in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. The aim was to develop a versatile camouflage that performs effectively across various terrains and fluctuating environmental settings. The MultiCam design incorporates seven hues, facilitating smooth transitions among greens, browns, and beiges. This allows it to adapt seamlessly to different environments, reflecting greens in wooded areas and browns or beiges in desert landscapes. It is particularly effective in Central and Eastern European conditions during autumn and in dried vegetation landscapes. MultiCam has achieved global acclaim and is utilized by many military forces and elite units. In 2010, it was officially adopted by the US Army for troops deployed in Afghanistan, replacing the former Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also accessible to civilians, making it a favored selection among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
