I wore this sweatshirt for the first time on open water on a very hot day, when it was nearly 40 degrees outside. Even so, I felt better in it than in just a t-shirt. The material is very breathable and does not restrict movement – it really is worth having.

Helikon-Tex MCDU Combat Shirt NyCo Rip-Stop - Olive Green
A functional and durable tactical Combat Shirt designed as part of the Modern Battle Dress Uniform (MBDU). The sleeves are made of NYCO fabric – a blend of cotton and nylon characterised by high resistance to abrasion and tearing. The central part of the shirt is made of elastic and breathable TopCool polyester fabric, which guarantees a good fit and full freedom of movement.
Shoulder pockets with YKK zips and Velcro panels
Both sleeves are equipped with pockets secured with YKK zippers, complemented by double velcro panels measuring 6 x 4 cm and 9.5 x 9 cm. These allow for attaching various types of emblems - from flags, through unit insignia, to morale patches. This gives the sweatshirt the ability to be personalized and tailored to the user’s individual preferences.
Adjustable cuffs, reinforced zones, collar with cover
The Velcro-adjustable cuffs allow for a precise fit to the wrist circumference. The elbow area has been additionally reinforced with stitching, which increases wear resistance in the most exposed areas. The design is complemented by a high collar with a zip, finished with a soft chin guard.

I am very satisfied with the purchase of this Combat. I recently tested it at the shooting range under intense sunlight and it worked perfectly – the material is breathable, does not cause overheating, and is comfortable without restricting movement. I rate the quality of workmanship highly – both the stitching and the fabrics seem very solid. The wz.93 camouflage looks excellent, which is why I decided to buy a second one for my brother as well. At this moment, we are both very pleased with this choice.

The Helikon combat shirt is above all very solid — the material on the sleeves is quite stiff and durable. It has ripstop, although it seems to me that even without it, it would be hard to tear. After two years of use, there are no visible abrasions or tears.

The sweatshirt fabric on the torso is very comfortable to wear and provides a high level of comfort and temperature regulation. The sleeves are made from a slightly stiffer material and are therefore less soft, but they offer better protection for airsoft. Hits from BBs on the arms are noticeably more bearable. The sleeves come up a bit longer on me, which is actually more of an advantage for airsoft, as it keeps the wrists better protected.

The shirt gives a really high-quality impression and is overall very comfortable to wear. It is light, breathable, and dries quickly. The cut is close-fitting, but it’s a bit roomier at the shoulders and sleeves, and the sleeves are slightly longer than I’m used to. The material of the sleeves is also a bit stiffer than the torso, which is probably normal for this type of combat shirt. Overall, a very successful shirt with good workmanship and a fair price.

I have been using this sweatshirt for two years both during training and tactical competitions. It is extremely durable and very comfortable. The only downside is that the cuffs become a bit stiff after fastening the Velcro.

The freedom of movement and adaptability of this shirt are remarkable given the price. I have already purchased products that cost three times as much and did not offer comparable performance. This is definitely my favourite combat top – it is stylish, durable, and strongly stitched. I don't overheat in it and there aren't any visible sweat stains. I deduct one star because after crawling on the grass the shirt snagged slightly. I'll also add that the sleeves are quite tight on the biceps, but this should suit people who don't work out.
