Helikon-Tex General Purpose Cargo Pouch - Kryptek Highlander

Cargo pouch made of abrasion- and tear-resistant 500D Cordura in Kryptek Highlander camouflage. The pouch is closed with a YKK zip. Inside, there is a velcro panel compatible with the Versatile Insert System, allowing organiser attachment, as well as elastic bands that improve the stabilisation of carried accessories. The front features MOLLE webbing for attaching additional items.

Access to the inside of the pouch is provided by a two-way zip. Pull tabs at the ends of the sliders make opening and closing easier, which is especially useful when working with gloves. Inside, there is a velcro panel compatible with the Versatile Insert System, allowing organiser attachment, as well as elastic bands that improve the stabilisation of carried accessories. The pouch is also equipped with a cord loop for attaching smaller items.

MOLLE/PALS mounting system, can be worn on a belt

The attachment system is based on straps compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system, allowing the pouch to be attached to a vest, backpack, or belt. In addition, the front features MOLLE webbing for mounting extra items.

The Highlander colour palette includes shades of sand, light brown, olive, and green - selected to enable camouflage in environments with low and medium vegetation and in places with strong sunlight.

    I’ve had this pouch for quite a while now and I’m pleased with it. The attachment system is really well designed. It fits perfectly on the sides of the Helikon Raccon MK2 rucksack. Its capacity is also just right—not too small and not too large. If I needed one again, I would buy it again without hesitation.

    The pouch is solidly and neatly stitched, and the zips work smoothly without snagging. On the bottom there is a small opening with a metal eyelet, which is probably meant to drain water. However, this is a minor drawback, because dirt or moisture can also get inside through it. The MOLLE system is well made. The pouch is very spacious, and inside it has two elastic straps. The entire inner back panel is lined with soft hook-and-loop, so organisers can be attached. I have this version in camouflage, and I’m very satisfied with it.

    The pocket has been made properly and looks pretty good. A plus are the short molle straps, which are characteristic of Helikon. Unfortunately, a big downside is the loud plastic back stiffening. If someone doesn't mind the occasional creaking, overall the product is fine.
