The sleeping bag is definitely worth its price. Very warm and pleasant to the touch. The quality is top notch. The zip in the middle is a great solution, especially for people sleeping in a hammock. Tested on the ground at a temperature of minus 3 degrees, wearing only underwear, it provided thermal comfort. If it ever gets damaged, I know I'll buy it again, I don't need to look for anything else. Although it's not ultralight, for Polish conditions and low mountains this may be my last sleeping bag.

Durable sleeping bag in MultiCam Black camouflage, mummy-shaped for a comfortable body position and freedom of movement during sleep. Made from high-quality polyamide, with a robust outer layer and synthetic G-Loft filling.
Temperature range and usage conditions
The usage temperatures of the Defence 4 sleeping bag are defined in accordance with EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: -8.8 C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit: -15 C – the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -35 C – the lowest temperature for survival in the sleeping bag. Not recommended for regular use.
G-Loft insulation, Thermoflect
The inside of the sleeping bag is filled with G-Loft synthetic down, which effectively helps maintain thermal comfort. The insulating material retains its properties even after contact with water, washing, or heavy use. The Thermoflect layer reflects body heat and traps it inside, improving insulation performance. The outer shell is larger and doesn’t stick directly to the interior, creating an extra thermal barrier.
Sleeping Bag System - Tropen
The Defence 4 model can be used in combination with other sleeping bags as an outer thermal layer. This configuration improves overall thermal efficiency, supports moisture wicking, and increases thermal comfort in temperatures down to -20 C. The Sleeping Bag System - Tropen technology and modern materials result in low weight and compact size when packed.
Central zipper, Anti Snag system
The sleeping bag features a two-way zipper placed centrally, allowing full opening. The Anti Snag system prevents fabric from getting caught in the zipper. Along the zipper, there is an insulated draft tube to block cold air. A Velcro flap at the top of the zipper prevents accidental opening. The trapezoidal footbox design offers more room for the feet and improves heat retention.
Integrated hood for cold protection
The model is equipped with a shaped hood with adjustable face opening that can be individually adjusted with drawcords to enhance cold protection.
Easy transport and storage
When packed, the sleeping bag takes up little space – 25 x 30 cm, and its weight is 1850 g, making it easy to carry and minimizing gear load.

The sleeping bag stands out for its high quality and, thanks to the synthetic G-loft filling, it can be kept in the compression sack much longer than traditional down sleeping bags. G-loft does not clump and does not absorb moisture like natural down. Overall, the sleeping bag performs well in harsher conditions, is carefully made, and is easy to use. I definitely recommend it.

Durable and well-insulating sleeping bag. It works great in spring and autumn. It provides a lot of comfort during sleep. If you often camp in a tent, it is definitely worth buying. I highly recommend it.
