The black cut-resistant jacket was developed as specialised protective clothing intended for people exposed to contact with sharp tools or edges - both at work and during selected outdoor activities. It performs well during technical and service work, as well as anywhere there is a risk of accidental fabric cuts and blade contact with the body.

The construction is based on an advanced cut-resistant material, which combines high mechanical resistance with relatively low weight. The model was designed to provide the highest possible level of protection for critical areas of the upper body, including the neck area. The jacket has been classified as category II personal protective equipment (PPE).

The inner layer of the jacket is made of an advanced fibre blend:

• Aramid (50%) - responsible for very high mechanical resistance and cut resistance, forming the primary protective component
• polyester (33%) - stabilises the material structure, increases its durability during use, and improves resistance to stretching and deformation
• fibreglass (17%) - serves a reinforcing role - high hardness and resistance to blade impact make material penetration more difficult, creating an additional protective barrier

This combination made it possible to achieve a material with high cut resistance while maintaining low thickness and good flexibility. The outer layer of the jacket is made of a blend of polyester (96%) and elastane (4%). Polyester is responsible for the increased durability of the fabric, while elastane improves its stretchability, which translates into a better fit and freedom of movement.

The outer material features windproof properties and moisture resistance, helping limit the penetration of light precipitation and protecting against wind chill. The outer layer creates an additional protective barrier, complementing the cut-resistant properties of the overall construction.

Every zone of the jacket is lined with cut-resistant material, ensuring continuous protective coverage across the entire surface. This solution eliminates local weak points in the construction, so protection is not limited only to selected panels, but covers all areas exposed to contact with sharp edges or tools.

Particular emphasis was placed on protecting sensitive areas. The high stand-up collar is an integral part of the protective system, shielding the neck and throat area. Its design ensures a close fit to the body without excessive pressure, so it does not restrict freedom of movement or breathing comfort.

The jacket provides a high level of cut protection, meeting the requirements of European standards for protective clothing. The materials used and the construction provide effective protection against sharp tools and mechanical hazards:

• cut protection level 5 according to EN 388:2016 - the highest level of resistance to mechanical cuts on a 0-5 scale
• cut protection level D according to EN ISO 13997:1999 - high resistance to cuts from sharp tools at a specified force level (scale from the lowest A to the highest F)
• compliance with EN ISO 13688 and Regulation (EU) 2016/425 - meets the requirements for protective clothing and is marked with the CE mark

The Oldenburg model has been classified as category II personal protective equipment (PPE II), which means it is intended to protect against medium-risk hazards. Products in this category are subject to mandatory conformity assessment and EU type examination conducted by a notified body.

The manufacturer recommends washing at 30 degrees Celsius, in a protective bag, separately, without using a tumble dryer and without turning the product inside out.
