Brandit M65 Classic Jacket with Detachable Liner - Dark Camo

Warm all-year-round jacket in Dark Camo camouflage inspired by the iconic M-65 model. Features a detachable liner, a hood hidden in the collar, four pockets (two on the chest and two at the waistband), and epaulettes on the shoulders.

The jacket closely replicates the M65 fit, used by the American army since the Vietnam conflict. The M65 is a true legend - practical, comfortable, spacious, sturdy. It has many supporters worldwide. Interestingly, it has often appeared in films and series, worn by characters created by actors such as Sylvester Stallone in "Rambo", Robert De Niro in "Taxi Driver", and Bronisław Cieślak in "07 zgłoś się".

sturdy construction, detachable liner

Outer layer is made of a material combining durable polyester (80%) and breathable cotton (20%). Inside the jacket, there is a thin polyester lining that enhances wearing comfort. The package also includes a detachable liner with synthetic fabric filling, featuring excellent thermal insulation properties, effectively protecting against cold. For comfort, the liner is additionally kept in place by buttons sewn at the neck and in the sleeves. Thanks to this, the jacket can be worn all year round.

4 spacious pockets

The model is equipped with four useful pockets fastened with snaps:

  • two at chest level
  • two near the hips

adjustable cuffs, drawstrings at the waistband, epaulettes on the shoulders

Velcro adjustable cuffs and drawstrings at the waistband protect against cold and allow for a tailored fit to the silhouette. Epaulettes on the shoulders provide the jacket with a distinctive character.

Zip covered with a strip

The M65 model closes with a zipper, which can be additionally covered with a strip fastened with snaps, which helps to maintain the temperature under the jacket and protects against wind penetrating through the zipper. The strip also prevents the zipper from getting blocked by accumulated dirt, dust, and sand, as well as freezing water or snow clumping on the zipper.

Dark Camo Camouflage

Dark Camo is a camouflage inspired by the classic M81 Woodland pattern, developed for the civilian market. Depending on the manufacturer, it can vary in color combination. It most often uses patches of dark gray, light gray and black, although variants with green or brown are also available. The dark color palette makes Dark Camo well suited for limited light conditions, urban terrain and as part of tactical styling.

    A solid jacket. First I ordered an L, because I thought it would fit, being 180 and 70kg, but it was too big! However, I returned it and changed it for an M and the whole process was very quick and smooth, very professional, for which I am grateful. The M size is ok, though I usually prefer a bit slimmer jackets. M still feels a tiny bit roomy so I keep wondering if S would be a tiny bit better... But it could also be a bit too small. So I can't count this as negative. Other than that, as said the jacket is ok, decent pockets and zipper, ok lining. A small negative is the hood which feels a bit impractical/cheaply made. Just doesn't fit really well. And the material can feel a bit stiff, which I guess is a limitation of polycotton. And personally, blue color is also more on a "bright" side like the one seen on the model pictures, less "dull" blue like on the first picture, which I would prefer. But I hope it will wash out with time.

    I am satisfied with the product. I chose the size carefully and it fits me perfectly. The clothing is good for cold weather, for now I wear it without layers. Functional pockets with snaps, solid zipper, and snaps on top. The only thing that bothered me a bit is the sleeve extension – when it's folded and fastened with the Velcro inside, it's a bit awkward to get your hand through the sleeve and check the time. I absolutely love the 'dark camo' colour. The price is fair.

    Can't believe how good quality the m65 brandit jacket is. I think it's the best jacket at the price I've ever bought. Loads of detail and really true size.     Great value for money for a pretty faithful reproduction of the original M65. I'm 175 cm tall, 88 kg with a 43 inch chest (110cm) and the XL was too baggy. Return process was straightforward. Size L is perfect for me. I can wear a shirt and fleece under the jacket when the liner is attached and an extra thicker layer when the liner is removed. Quality is, generally, good. A lot of loose threads underneath the lining which you only see if you look underneath the inner lining. I had to move one of the shoulder buttons as the epaulette looped up and wouldn't lie flat. The Brandit label inside the jacket is large and water resistant, and can get quite sweaty after moderate use. I could pick the stitching and remove it. Other than that, I really like the jacket and do not regret the purchase.

    Really iconic design – this collar is very masculine. It looks really cool if your build isn’t slim. On the downside, the pocket placement is a bit dated. For soldiers in the 1960s this may have been the norm, but nowadays it’s just inconvenient. There are also no side pockets at the bottom, so it’s impossible to walk around with your hands in the pockets of this jacket. The hood is purely nominal. The lining is quite short: both around the neck and at the waist area.

    Height 187 cm. Weight 110 kg. Ordered XXXL. It turned out to be very big. At NP post office I was told I could only inspect, not try it on. In the size chart, the difference between XXL and XXXL is literally 1-2 cm. Now I’m hesitating which size to choose. Maybe XL? I call the seller's phone - only a robot responds! I initiated a return process, waiting now. The quality is not bad. Some threads are sticking out, but it's easy to fix. The seams are double, strong, and even. Feels soft to the touch. You don't feel synthetic. Large collar. Overall, I liked the quality. But choosing the exact size is a problem. According to the table, it's not accurate, doesn't match the real sizes. The price is good. Delivery was fast and free for orders from 2999 UAH. Now I'm waiting for a refund and maybe I'll order again.

    I don't know about anyone else, but this jacket is very convenient for me. I use it for everyday needs (defending the country). Dirt comes off easily, it's comfortable, warm, and there is nothing unnecessary.

    The jacket is carefully sewn. It has a very warm lining, which can be easily detached. It proved effective in temperatures from +6 to -7 degrees Celsius (without the lining) and it was enough to wear a fleece or an ordinary shirt underneath to feel very warm.
