Brandit M65 Classic jacket with removable liner - Navy

Warm, all-season jacket in a Navy shade based on the iconic M-65 model. It is equipped with a removable liner, a hood hidden in the stand-up collar, four pockets (two on the chest and two at the waist), as well as shoulder epaulettes.

The jacket is a faithful reproduction of the M65 cut used by the US military since the Vietnam War era. The M65 is a true icon - practical, comfortable, roomy and durable. It has many fans all over the world. Interestingly, it has been used many times in films and TV series as part of the wardrobe of characters played by actors such as Sylwester Stallone in "Rambo" and Robert De Niro in "Taxi Driver".

durable construction, removable liner

The outer layer is made from a material that combines durable polyester (80%) and breathable cotton (20%). The inside of the jacket is fitted with a thin polyester lining that provides additional wearing comfort. The set includes a removable liner filled with synthetic fabric with high thermal insulation properties, providing protection against the cold. For greater stability, the liner is attached with buttons sewn in near the neck and in the sleeves. Thanks to it, the jacket can be worn all year round.

4 spacious pockets

The model is equipped with four practical pockets closed with snaps:

  • two at chest height
  • two hip pockets

adjustable cuffs, drawstrings at the waist, shoulder epaulettes

Velcro-adjustable cuffs (velcro) and drawstrings at the waist protect the user from the cold and allow adjustment to the body shape. Shoulder epaulettes add a distinctive character to the jacket.

Zip protected by a storm flap

The M65 model fastens with a zip, which is additionally covered by a storm flap fastened with snaps, helping retain warmth under the jacket and preventing strong wind from penetrating through the zip. The flap also prevents the zip from getting jammed by dirt, dust and sand, and even from water freezing on it and snow building up.

It keeps you warm in autumn when the temperature stays a few degrees above freezing. The hood, like on other jackets of this kind, is quite thin and is more suitable for a short emergency trip outside. The sizing runs slightly large — I normally wear XL and chose that size. The jacket is not noticeably too big, but an L would fit a little better. Therefore, if someone usually wears XL but is closer to L than to 2XL, it is worth considering buying size L.
