A saw you can always rely on, even if it has been outperformed by other saws. One thing is clear: it will never let you down when you need it, unlike the more performant ones whose blades can break quite easily if you're not careful while cutting. There is a reason why the Laplander has been and will remain a legend in bushcraft—it will never break. I’ve just bought a spare one myself, to be sure that I’ll always have a backup.

I had the opportunity to use this saw during my last training. I have no complaints – it's a great piece of equipment, worth every penny. I definitely recommend it and suggest waiting for it to be restocked online.

Light, small and handy, with a well-shaped handle—a little rascal among saws. Cuts very well and the button lock prevents accidental folding.

I compared it to my brother's saw for 250 PLN from Stihl, and it's almost as fast in cutting, but much more compact. It will definitely stay with me for a long time.

There are two minor downsides: it lacks an intermediate lock when folding, so less experienced users should be careful not to pinch their fingers.
