Lightweight pilot jacket in classic flyers style. Made from durable, abrasion-resistant nylon in navy blue and enhanced with a tracksuit hood. It features a robust zip fastening.
Detachable hood, velcro panel
The garment has ribbed cuffs at the wrists, collar and waist, as well as a detachable hood that effectively protects the head and neck from the wind. An internal windproof placket under the main zip provides additional protection against the cold. There is a velcro patch on the left chest with the manufacturer's logo.
Practical pockets, loops for accessories
The jacket has five functional pockets:
- two inner with velcro closure,
- two external with press studs,
- one zipped pocket on the left shoulder.
The shoulder pocket additionally features loops for pens or other small accessories and a red tag with the words ‘Remove Before Flight’.
Lining in orange
The inside of the jacket is finished in orange, allowing it to be used as a warning jacket when turned inside out. This distinctive solution harks back to the original purpose of the MA-1 models, developed for USAF pilots. In the event of a malfunction or shoot-down, it increased the chances of being found quickly by the emergency services.
