A lightweight bomber jacket in the distinctive flight jacket design. Made from high-quality, abrasion-resistant nylon and featuring a sweatsuit hood.
The jacket fastens with a sturdy zip. It features drawcords at the waist, wrists and collar, as well as a detachable hood to protect the head and neck from the wind. The main zip is secured with an internal windproof flap for extra protection against the cold.
The jacket features five practical pockets:
- two internal pockets with Velcro fastenings,
- two external pockets with press studs,
- one on the left shoulder with a zip fastening.
The shoulder pocket is additionally fitted with loops for pens or other accessories and a red tag bearing the inscription “Remove Before Flight”.
The interior is finished in orange. This distinctive feature is linked to the original purpose of MA-1 jackets for USAF pilots. In the event of a crash or being shot down, they had a better chance of being rescued by search and rescue services. Nowadays, this ingenious solution can prove useful when walking along the verge of an unlit road outside built-up areas.
A Velcro patch with the manufacturer’s logo is positioned on the left chest.
