Carinthia

Carinthia is a renowned company from Austria, specializing in the production of high-quality outdoor and military clothing and equipment. For over seventy years, it has been providing products that perform well in the toughest terrain and climatic conditions.

Origin and History of the Brand

The Carinthia brand originates from the Austrian region of Carinthia. Its beginnings date back to 1948 when it was founded by Alfred Lener. Since then, the company has been continuously developing, gaining recognition both among professionals and outdoor enthusiasts.

A key moment in the brand's development was the initiation of work on synthetic insulation by Augustin Mayer in 1975. These studies resulted in the creation of the innovative G-LOFT® technology, which remains the foundation of thermal insulation in Carinthia products to this day. As early as 1981, the first factory producing G-LOFT® on an industrial scale was launched.

Growth and Innovation

From its inception, Carinthia has focused on innovation and the highest quality of workmanship. The brand independently develops its own technologies, such as:

• G-LOFT® – a synthetic insulation with properties similar to natural down, resistant to moisture and providing excellent thermal insulation even in difficult conditions.
• HIG and PRIMALOFT – technologies that enhance thermal comfort and the performance parameters of clothing.
• ISO Mapping – a system for placing insulation in strategic locations to provide optimal warmth and comfort.

The company also places great emphasis on ecology, implementing environmentally friendly materials and production processes.
