Carinthia Survival Down 1000 Sleeping Bag - Olive

A down sleeping bag in a mummy design in olive, intended for use in harsh terrain conditions. The outer layer and lining are made of 100% polyamide, while thermal insulation is provided by 95/5 European goose down used in the CQ-Down system. The H-chamber construction with elastic baffles and a differential cut supports even down distribution, while the contoured hood, thermal collar, two zippers, and hidden sleeves enhance the sleeping bag's functionality.

The operating temperatures of the Survival Down 1000 sleeping bag are specified in accordance with EN 13537:

• T-comfort: -20 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night.
• T-extreme: -40 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which it is possible to survive in the sleeping bag. This is not a value recommended for standard use.

The outer layer is made of 100% polyamide, combining low weight with resistance to intensive use. The inner lining is also made of 100% polyamide. This combination helps maintain a lightweight construction and works well with the natural down fill.

Thermal insulation is provided by 95/5 European goose down used in the CQ-Down system. The natural fill is distinguished by high thermal insulation and retains its properties even after repeated compression of the sleeping bag. The down is distributed in H-type chambers with elastic baffles, which allow it to achieve the proper loft and limit shifting inside the construction. The differential cut used reduces the risk of excessive compression of the insulating layer and helps limit the formation of areas with weaker insulation, including around the knees and elbows.

A central two-way zipper is placed on the front of the sleeping bag. This solution makes it possible to adjust the degree of opening of the sleeping bag and supports ventilation and microclimate adjustment during use. The zipper is protected by a thermal flap, a protective cover flap, and Anti Snag tape, which reduces the risk of the fabric being caught. There is a separate zipper at the feet in the lower part, which when unzipped allows the legs to be extended out. After tying up the lower part of the sleeping bag, this solution allows movement without the need to remove the sleeping bag completely.

The sleeping bag is equipped with a contoured hood with an adjustable face opening. An elastic drawstring allows a close fit, helping reduce heat loss around the head. An additional layer of insulation is provided by the thermal collar. The lower part takes the form of a spacious trapezoidal foot section, which gives more room for the legs while sleeping and reduces compression of the fill in this area. The insulating layer also features hidden sleeves; after taking them out and extending the legs, the sleeping bag can serve as additional thermal protection while moving around.

The sleeping bag is 225 cm long, 85 cm wide in the upper part, and 60 cm wide in the lower part. It weighs approximately 1850 g. When packed, the sleeping bag measures approximately 25 x 40 cm.
