Carinthia ECIG 4.0 Jacket - Olive

An insulated jacket featuring a PTFE waterproof membrane and a lining crafted from robust polyamide. Constructed with a windproof outer layer of Gore Windstopper, it offers exceptional resistance to both damage and moisture while ensuring excellent breathability. This jacket was designed in collaboration with uniformed personnel operating in extreme weather conditions.

The outer fabric is treated with an IR coating that prevents detection by night vision equipment that enhances ambient light. Cordura reinforcements have been applied to the jacket's back, shoulders, elbows, and cuffs to boost abrasion and damage resistance.

Inside, the jacket is insulated with lightweight G-Loft synthetic down, ensuring warmth at temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius. The insulation's design and quantity follow the ISO Mapping system, which allocates warmth according to the body's thermal zones. Regions most susceptible to hypothermia, like the body, are equipped with 220 g/m2 down, while the shoulders have 145 g/m2. The insulation maintains its thermal properties, even after encountering moisture.

The ECIG 4.0 model is equipped with 12 pockets:

• two fleece-lined, zipped cargo pockets on the chest
• four shoulder pockets with zips
• one pocket on the left forearm with a zip,
• two pockets with press studs
• two large inside pockets
• small internal zipped mesh document pocket

The two-way waterproof zip used to fasten the jacket is finished with a chin guard and additionally protected with an internal wind protection strip. A high collar with detachable, warm fleece provides ventilation and protection against moisture. Underarm vents allow the air flow to be regulated.

Velcro adjustable cuffs and an elasticated hem allow for a very good fit to the wearer's build. In addition, there is an adjustable snow guard at the waist. The jacket features a generous fleece-lined hood , which is adjustable via two elastic drawstrings. An additional drawstring hood is located at the back and is secured with a velcro-fastened patch.

Three velcro panels have been sewn onto the shoulders and back to allow the attachment of any patches and emblems, e.g. the national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches.

Winter sports: The jacket's fit does not restrict movement, which is key when performing a variety of activities. The storm flap and high collar provide protection from the cold and enable sports in cold temperatures.

Military operations: Numerous pockets allow storage of essential equipment. Cordura reinforcements on the back of the jacket, shoulders, elbows and cuffs prevent damage to the jacket when exploring the terrain.
