Carinthia ECIG 4.0 Jacket - Black

Insulated jacket with PTFE waterproof membrane and lining made of durable polyamide. The outer layer was sewn from windproof Gore Windstopper material, which is characterized by high resistance to damage and moisture, and provides excellent breathability. The jacket was developed in cooperation with uniformed service officers working in extreme weather conditions.

The outer material has been coated with IR coating, which prevents detection by night vision devices that amplify residual light. Cordura reinforcements have been used on the back of the jacket, shoulders, elbows and cuffs to increase resistance to abrasion and damage.

The jacket's interior is insulated with lightweight G-Loft synthetic down, providing thermal comfort at temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius. The layout and amount of insulation are based on the ISO Mapping system, which distributes heat according to the body's thermal zones. A 220 g/m2 down grammage was used in the most chill-prone areas, such as the body, and 145 g/m2 on the shoulders. The insulation retains its insulating properties even after contact with water.

The ECIG 4.0 model is equipped with 12 pockets:

• two fleece-lined, zippered cargo pockets on the chest
• four shoulder pockets with zippers
• one pocket on the left forearm with a zipper
• two zippered pockets
• two large inner pockets
• an internal small mesh document pocket with zippered closure

The two-way waterproof zipper used to fasten the jacket is finished with a chin guard and additionally protected by an internal wind protection strip. A high collar equipped with a detachable warm fleece provides adequate ventilation and protection from moisture. Underarm vents allow you to regulate air flow.

Velcro adjustable cuffs and elastic drawstring at the bottom allow for a perfect fit. In addition, there is an adjustable snow guard at the waist. The jacket has a spacious fleece-lined hood, adjustable with two elastic drawstrings. An additional drawstring at the back of the hood is secured with a Velcro patch.

There are three velcro panels on the shoulders and back for attaching patches such as the national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches.

Winter sports: The jacket's fit doesn't restrict movement, which is key when doing a variety of activities. The storm flap and high collar provide protection from the cold and allow sports in cold temperatures.

Military operations: Numerous pockets allow you to store essential equipment. Cordura reinforcements on the back of the jacket, shoulders, elbows and cuffs prevent damage to the jacket while exploring the terrain.
