Carinthia ECIG 4.0 Jacket - Black

Insulated jacket equipped with a waterproof PTFE membrane and a lining sewn from durable polyamide. The upper part is made of windproof Gore Windstopper material, which shows high resistance to damage and moisture, while providing excellent breathability. The model was created in cooperation with uniformed services officers working in extreme weather conditions.

The outer fabric has been treated with an IR coating to counteract recognition by residual light amplifiers (night vision devices). Cordura reinforcements on the back of the jacket, shoulders, elbows and cuffs increase their resistance to abrasions and tears.

The jacket's interior is filled with lightweight synthetic G-Loft down for thermal comfort in temperatures down to -30 degrees Celsius. Its quantity and placement were based on the ISO Mapping system of dividing body areas into thermal zones. On the most sensitive and exposed to cooling areas (the body) 220 g/m2 down was used, and on the shoulders - 145 g/m2. The insulation retains its thermal insulating properties even when wet.

The ECIG 4.0 model is equipped with 12 pockets:

• two fleece-lined, zippered cargo pockets on the chest
• four shoulder pockets with zippers
• one pocket on the left forearm with a zipper,
• two zippered pockets
• two large inner pockets
• an internal small mesh document pocket with zippered closure

A waterproof, two-way zipper used to fasten the jacket has been finished with a chin guard and equipped with an internal wind protection strip. The high collar is lined with detachable warm fleece, which provides adequate breathability and is moisture-resistant. Underarm vents allow free adjustment of the air supply.

Velcro adjustable cuffs and elastic welt at the bottom allow for a very good fit to the wearer's build. In addition, there is an adjustable snow guard at the waist. The jacket is equipped with a spacious hood with fleece adjustable with two elastic pullers. An additional hood puller is located at the back and is secured by a Velcro-fastened patch.

Three velcro panels have been sewn on the shoulders and back, which allow attaching any patches and emblems, such as the national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches.

Winter sports: The jacket's fit doesn't restrict movement, which is key when doing a variety of activities. The storm flap and high collar provide protection from the cold and allow sports in cold temperatures.

Military operations: Numerous pockets allow you to store essential equipment. Cordura reinforcements on the back of the jacket, shoulders, elbows and cuffs prevent damage to the jacket while exploring the terrain.
