I used it in cold and windy conditions and you can immediately feel that it's solid equipment. It retains heat very well, even when spending a long time outside, there's no feeling of getting cold. The cut is comfortable and doesn't restrict movement, so you can work or move dynamically as usual. The material seems very durable, it's not afraid of rain or intensive use. The pockets are well placed and practical. The downside may be the weight and bulk, but in return you get high comfort and protection.
Carinthia MIG 4.0 Jacket - MultiCam
Insulated jacket in MultiCam camouflage, equipped with a waterproof PTFE membrane and a lining made of durable polyamide. The outer part was sewn from windproof material Gore Windstopper, which is characterized by high resistance to damage and moisture, while providing excellent breathability. The model was designed in cooperation with uniformed services officers.
Cordura reinforcements, IR coating, Techno Stretch inserts
The outer fabric has been coated with IR coating, which reduces infrared re-emission and makes it difficult to detect the user with night vision, increasing safety in the dark. Cordura reinforcements on the shoulders, elbows, and cuffs increase resistance to abrasion and damage. Techno Stretch inserts around the torso and forearms ensure comfort and freedom of movement.
G-Loft synthetic filling, ISO Mapping system
The interior of the jacket is filled with lightweight, synthetic G-Loft down, which provides thermal comfort at temperatures down to -15°C. The amount and distribution of insulation is based on the ISO Mapping system, which divides the body into thermal zones. The torso area is filled with an insulation with a grammage of 125 g/m2, while the shoulders are filled with 80 g/m2. The insulation retains its thermal properties even when wet.
Seven practical pockets
The MIG 4.0 model is equipped with 7 practical pockets:
- two slanted pockets on the front, fleece-lined and zippered
- three pockets with waterproof zippers on the sleeves
- two inner zippered mesh pockets
Waterproof zipper, high collar, vents, roomy hood
Serving to fasten the jacket, the waterproof two-way zipper has been finished with a chin guard and equipped with an internal windproof trim. A high collar lined with warm fleece provides comfort and protection from moisture. Underarm vents allow you to regulate airflow. The generous fleece-linedhood design allows for a precise fit thanks to two elastic drawstrings. An additional adjuster located at the back has been secured with a Velcro patch.
Adjustable cuffs, velcro panels, compression pouch
Velcroadjustments on the cuffs and an elastic hem ensure an optimal fit. Three velcro panels on the shoulders and back allow you to personalize the jacket by attaching patches, flags or the unit emblem. A compression pouch is included in the set.
MultiCam camouflage
MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.

The jacket is warm, but it is not at all suitable for wearing with gear because both the outer and inner materials are easily damaged when coming into contact with other fabrics. I expected better quality for this price and I'm a bit disappointed because after just a few uses the jacket is already noticeably pilled. The Cordura on the shoulders partially prevents this, but it is missing on the sides and at the bottom on the inside where it contacts the tactical belt.

The jacket works perfectly in winter, even at very low temperatures. It is sturdy, additionally reinforced in the shoulder and elbow areas, and is also exceptionally practical thanks to the large number of pockets and easy cord adjustment.
-
The jacket seems solid and is warm. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the right size – S is too long for me and the sleeves are quite stiff because of the zipper, which causes a feeling of tightness. I think people with a more proportional figure will be satisfied with it, even considering the price.

The jacket is amazing, definitely top-notch. It's not too thick, yet it keeps you very warm. The materials are high quality, and with proper care, it will last for many years.

This jacket, if someone likes its style, has basically only one flaw – the price. It's hard to find other reasons to complain. The quality of workmanship, the materials and technologies used are at a very high level. The design has been very well thought out.
