Durable sleeping bag in red, designed in a mummy-style for a cozy sleeping position and unrestricted movement. Crafted from premium Shelltex material, it features a resilient outer layer and insulation made from 95/5 CQ-Down goose down and synthetic G-Loft filling.

The temperature ratings for the Carinthia D 400X sleeping bag comply with the EN 13537 standard:

T-comfort: 0°C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably throughout the night,
T-limit: -5°C - the minimum temperature where a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
T-extreme: -23°C - the minimum temperature at which survival is possible inside the sleeping bag. This is not advised for regular use.

The outer shell features Pertex Quantum Endurance, and the inside is lined with Shelltex Ultra. This lightweight fabric provides excellent resistance to mechanical wear and shields against water, snow, and wind. Its breathability efficiently manages moisture and sweat, enhancing sleeping comfort. With its robust design, the material is resistant to abrasion and tearing, making the sleeping bag ideal for demanding outdoor conditions.

The D400X model incorporates 95/5 CQ-Down goose down, known for its light weight and superior thermal insulation, boasting a high loft of 800 cuin. The down is positioned within H-chambers to prevent movement, ensuring consistent cold protection. The DIScover system serves as an extra insulation layer, shielding the down from moisture and sustaining excellent thermal output. In addition, the use of synthetic G-Loft insulation ensures it maintains its thermal qualities in humidity, through frequent washes, and over extended periods of use.

The sleeping bag comes with a two-way zipper on the left side, enabling it to open completely. The Anti Snag system ensures the fabric does not get ensnared in the zipper, and a Velcro flap at the top section prevents unintentional unzipping during rest. Inside, a small pocket is available for keeping small items secure.

The integrated hood boosts thermal insulation by encircling the head and minimizing heat loss in cold conditions. Its construction further shields against wind and moisture.

When packed, this sleeping bag occupies very little space, making it convenient for transportation and storage. The packed size is 17 x 21 cm, and it weighs a mere 785 g, allowing for easy portability without significantly increasing the gear load.

The set comes with a compression sack featuring quick-release buckles, ensuring the sleeping bag remains secure during transit while safeguarding it from dirt and damage.
