Durable sleeping bag in red, designed in a mummy-style to offer a cozy sleeping position and allow for freedom of movement. Crafted from premium Shelltex material, it features a rugged outer layer and is insulated with 95/5 CQ-Down goose down and synthetic G-Loft filling.

The temperature ratings for the Carinthia D 400X sleeping bag are specified in accordance with EN 13537 standards:

T-comfort: 0°C - the temperature at which a woman can sleep soundly throughout the night without discomfort.
T-limit: -5°C - the temperature at which a man can continue to sleep through the night without experiencing discomfort.
T-extreme: -23°C - the lowest temperature where survival in the sleeping bag is possible, though not recommended for regular use.

The outer shell is crafted from Pertex Quantum Endurance, while the interior is lined with Shelltex Ultra. This lightweight fabric is highly resistant to mechanical damage and provides excellent defense against water, snow, and wind. Its breathability efficiently manages moisture and perspiration, enhancing sleeping comfort. With its structural design, the material is resistant to abrasion and tearing, making the sleeping bag ideal for demanding outdoor conditions.

The D400X model incorporates 95/5 CQ-Down goose down, known for being lightweight, providing superior thermal insulation, and possessing a high loft of 800 cuin. To prevent movement and assure consistent cold protection, the down is situated within H-chambers. The DIScover system functions as an extra insulation shield, safeguarding the down from moisture and sustaining the sleeping bag's exceptional thermal efficiency. Moreover, it employs synthetic G-Loft insulation, which maintains its thermal efficiency even in damp environments, after frequent laundering, and with extended use.

The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper located on the left side, enabling it to be fully opened. The Anti Snag system helps prevent the fabric from snagging in the zipper, while a Velcro flap at the top ensures the zipper stays closed during sleep. Inside, there's a small pocket for keeping small items secure.

The integrated hood boosts thermal insulation by encasing the head, effectively reducing heat loss in cold environments. Its design also offers enhanced protection from wind and moisture.

When folded, the sleeping bag occupies minimal space, making it easy to transport and store. The packed dimensions are 15 x 21 cm, and it weighs just 720 g, ensuring it can be carried comfortably without adding significant weight to your gear.
