I bought two pairs for myself and my husband. In terms of comfort and moisture wicking – they are very good. Unfortunately, in terms of durability, they fall short. Used only in the city, but after six months both pairs are already worn through at the top by the loops. I thought they would last longer.
Zephyr Tactical Mid ZX55 Boots - Grey
High-quality tactical footwear in Grey, with an upper made of natural suede leather with textile inserts and a Free-tex membrane. An excellent choice for both uniformed services and everyday use in the city or in the field.
Free-tex membrane
The breathable Free-tex membrane protects against external moisture while allowing moisture to escape from inside the boot. The three-layer construction guarantees complete waterproofing and provides thermal insulation.
EVA foam insole, oil-resistant sole, non-slip tread
Comfort is enhanced by the midsole and insole made of flexible EVA foam, which absorbs shocks and provides additional cushioning in the heel area. The oil-resistant rubber outsole with a clearly contoured tread offers excellent traction on a variety of surfaces thanks to its non-slip properties.
No metal components
The boots are made without any metal components, facilitating smooth passage through airport security gates and other secured locations.
*With the purchase of Zephyr Tactical Mid ZX55 boots, you'll receive a pair of Zephyr Tactical socks featuring an elastic, non-restrictive cuff and flat seams. The socks are included randomly in three colours (grey, green, black).

The workmanship of the shoes is very good. My foot size is 42 and I ordered the same shoe size – they fit perfectly and there’s even a bit of room for a thicker sock. The only thing that worries me is that the laces go through fabric loops at the bottom instead of metal eyelets – I'm concerned that the fabric might break over time. The shoes haven't been used in the rain yet, so just in case, I intend to waterproof them.

A positive surprise, the value for money is very good. A week hiking in the Bieszczady mountains did not damage the shoes. Truly waterproof – despite rain and wading through various streams, the inside stayed dry.

I bought the shoes recently, so I haven't had a chance to test them intensively yet, but the value for money seems appropriate. However, I do miss a loop at the back to make it easier to put on the shoes. The exchange process for a smaller size went smoothly – the customer service at Militaria deserves praise here. I recommend them!

Decent and durable shoes. Tested in the rain during walks in the forest, they did not soak through. Despite the membrane and high temperature, feet (with socks) did not sweat. If you tighten the laces well on all the eyelets, they hold the foot firmly, although at first this may be uncomfortable for someone inexperienced. I rate them 5/5 for the price, we’ll see how the durability turns out.

The shoes are well made, do not cause chafing or pressure, the size matches the chart, and they remain comfortable even after longer wear. Everything as described, definitely worth buying at this price.

+ Polish manufacturer + attractive design (it’s a pity there’s no black version) + actual sizing (with insoles 28.5 I chose size 44) I tested them on a long walk – they didn’t rub my heels, my feet stayed warm, and after a walk in deep snow, my socks stayed dry :D I recommend this purchase!
