I bought these matches. Apart from the fact that they are indeed hermetically packed, inside there are just ordinary, short-ended matches. Honestly, it's a bit disappointing :-( Maybe they're suitable for survival, but they probably wouldn't withstand an assault :-(

They may not be the cheapest matches, but thanks to the sealed packaging, there’s no risk of them getting wet. I keep them in all the backpacks I take outdoors. I highly recommend them.

The biggest advantage is the packaging – it's small, very practical, and easily fits almost anywhere, whether in the smallest organiser, or a trouser, hoodie or jacket pocket. It doesn't get in the way when carried. I haven't checked yet whether it's waterproof, but the lid is missing a rubber gasket. The matches inside look completely ordinary and don’t have an extra amount of combustible material. Maybe that's due to their intended use – these aren’t storm matches, but survival matches, so the box is the most well-thought-out feature. The external striker is very rough and sometimes scrapes off a large part of the match before it lights – especially when the air is very humid.

The matches do their job well. Stored in a sealed box, they withstood rain showers without any problems. They are small in size, so it's easy to stash them practically anywhere. I definitely recommend them.

I purchased these as a cheaper alternative to my storm proof matches which are more than twice the price. I just needed something to light my alcohol stove in cold weather. I really like the small little tub they come in it's made carrying them easy and the striker works well also - very happy with my purchase.

The matches were bought a long time ago, but for a long while they just lay at the bottom of my backpack during mountain trips. Recently I finally decided to test them, and despite the difficult conditions they were in, they lit without any problems.

Bought for emergencies. The price is a bit high, but the quality makes up for it. Excellent protection against getting wet, can be attached to your keys. Fun fact: my pack had 21 matches instead of the 20 stated in the description – an extra plus.

Small, convenient packaging is perfect as EDC, you can always have it with you. However, the striker is a bit too rough and wears down the head of the match, so I stuck a piece from a regular box and now it's fine.
