The fire starter is of excellent quality, with a solid rod and an amazing striker that creates plenty of sparks – you could almost weld with it 😂. Every true adventure lover should have one. I recommend it!
An 8.6 mm diameter ferrocerium rod flint that gives a large sheaf of sparks with a temperature of 3000ðC. It works even in difficult atmospheric conditions such as during rain and wind and at high altitudes. With the help of the flint you can light, for example, a gas stove, a tourist stove or a campfire, which is a source of heat and allows you to prepare a meal away from home. It will be perfect not only during camping, but also in emergency situations. The rod of the flint is sufficient for about 5000 kindling.
The handle is made of porous plastic and painted in a bright color, which makes it possible to quickly find the flint if it is lost in the grass, for example. Along with the flint , the kit comes with a sparkler in the form of a serrated metal plate and a paracord pendant. Thanks to its small size, the whole thing will fit into a trousers pocket or backpack.
The Pro version uses a thicker blade with sharper edges, which ignites even more sparks.

The firestarter really works well :) Every time I use it, it produces a strong, pronounced spark. Both the rod and the striker are comfortable to use. The handles are very ergonomically designed and look elegant, with a consistent texture. Wildo is not the cheapest firestarter, but it seems solid and not cheap looking. The rod may not be as long and thick as in, for example, ZA-PAS or Hultafors, but its size fits perfectly into the rubber sheath of the Leatherman ARC holster, and the striker fits perfectly in the slot. The striker deserves a mention – it's simple, but does its job excellently. I used it with both the Wildo and Hultafors rods and always got a similar result – lots of sparks. What’s more, an old NATO magnesium rod, when used with the Wildo striker, also gave a strong shower of sparks. To sum up, I definitely recommend it.

It's not the most comfortable to hold, but it works brilliantly and produces a lot of sparks. Although the price is high, it is worth every penny. The only downside is the short cord.

I had the opportunity to use this fire starter during one of the training sessions. Flawless – the equipment is simply excellent and worth every penny. I definitely recommend it!

The Wildo fire starter is a very solid product – it's another piece I've bought from this brand and I highly recommend it. It gives off a lot of sparks and the striker works perfectly.
-
The price is quite high, but the firestarter works perfectly both as the main tool for lighting a fire and as a backup. I recommend it to everyone – you won’t find a better firestarter.

The Wildo Fire-Flash Pro Large lime fire starter stands out for its very high quality. It works excellently for lighting a fire, even in more difficult weather conditions. All you need is good tinder and success is guaranteed. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

The ergonomics of the striker and handle are average quality. The rod is similar to the one from LMF. The price is relatively high. Other than that, it's fine. For me, it comes second after LMF. Swedish fire starters are the best.

This is a great firestarter, probably the best available in Poland. The striker really has no competition – it’s worth paying a few extra zloty for this quality. I recommend it.

Very good equipment. Both the fire starter and the striker work great. It's not the cheapest, but after the first use you can see what you are paying for. The rod is thick enough that it won't break easily.

The thick rod makes a difference – I used to think all fire starters were the same, but I also had a Badger fire starter and this is a whole different level. It's worth paying extra for the Wildo: the rod wears down more slowly and produces lots of sparks, almost effortlessly, and on top of that, a great scraper.

There’s no need to hesitate, it’s worth buying! The thick rod will last a long time, well attached to the plastic handle. The scraper has sharp edges that create great sparks. The bright colour of the handle makes it hard to lose in the grass.

This is my second firestarter, and so far it’s the best. The scraper is great – a comfortable handle, long and with a very sharp edge, which produces sparks excellently. The rod is solid and will definitely last a long time. There are lots of sparks, and materials ignite quickly. The product is aesthetically packaged and connected with a string. I think it’s worth spending more on it.

I got this fire starter as a gift – an amazing product, and the striker does most of the work here. If someone is sensitive to bright light, they should wear glasses, because it can really shine brightly with a good stroke.

Great fire starter. The thick rod lasts for many uses. The scraper with a sharp end works really well. It generates lots of sparks. The bright colour makes it easy to find the equipment. I recommend it!
