I bought it together with a very similar model — one for my car, the other for my wife’s car. I’m satisfied with this purchase because it’s really lightweight and convenient to use. So far, I’ve only used it a few times, so it’s still hard for me to judge its durability over the longer term, but after 3–4 uses, I can confidently recommend it. I consider the price-to-quality ratio to be very good.

Saving space and having a comfortable grip were important to me, and that is exactly what I got. The only thing missing for complete satisfaction is a carry case.

The product is made of solid material, handy and, once assembled properly, is quite stable. Unfortunately, it gives the impression that it might deform quickly with intensive use. I wouldn't really recommend it for continuous work, but for this price you can't expect more. Overall, it's alright.

The entrenching tool performs its basic task. Thanks to its folding design, it is easier to fit into a backpack, but I miss even a simple cover for it. The parts of the entrenching tool are not perfectly matched – the whole thing can be noisy and may loosen after a short period of use. Rivets have been used, which makes quick repairs difficult if they break; a screw and nut would be a better solution. At this price, you can say the entrenching tool does its job, although it's not without flaws.

The Badger Outdoor folding entrenching tool is a solid piece of equipment that works well for digging and turning over soil. The only downside is that after folding, you can hear it rattle when carrying it.

Made with attention to detail and extremely functional. When folded, it doesn't take up much space, and during use, it remains stable and solid. It works great at a campsite, in the car or outdoors – you'll always find a use for it.

The shovel has many advantages: it’s compact, easy to unfold and fold, the blade is quite sharp and it feels good in the hand during work. Unfortunately, the mounting of the blade to the first hinge could be better – two rivets and a narrow plate mean that with every use it gets more and more deformed. I’ve taken it on several trips and it still works, but a different mounting system would prolong its life a lot.

It's a recent purchase, haven’t tested it outdoors yet, but while trying it out I noticed at least four ways to use it, which gives many possibilities. Nice flat spike, almost like a bayonet. Useful in the car or on a trip. It's not very light; I would think whether to take it in a backpack.

Works quite well for light shovelling out of snow for the car. It's light and compact when folded, unfolds quickly. Unfortunately, the quality isn't the best – it's unstable and falls apart quickly. It probably wouldn’t last long in harder ground.

Good for digging a wheel out of mud or snow, although there is some play in the joints and the paint quickly wears off during use. After working in the sand, the mechanism might get a bit gritty, making it harder to operate.
