Light My Fire Firesteel 2.0 Bio Army Tinder with whistle - Black

Great fire starter – it fits well in the hand, the rod is really big, and although the scraper is small, it only takes one stroke to produce plenty of sparks. An additional advantage is the whistle included in the set, which I haven't seen with other fire starters.

This fire steel is definitely worth recommending – everything works as it should, it’s easy to start and generate sparks, well-made and comfortable to use. I recommend it.

This fire starter is recommended by soldiers and has been tested by tourists – I also recommend it, because it simply works. Unlike cheaper options, it actually lights a fire. You can even use it to light a candle wick. Although it’s expensive, it’s worth choosing if you’re planning to buy a fire starter.

A practical and functional fire starter. You just need to scrape off the protective layer and it starts to produce plenty of sparks. With a bit of practice, you can start a fire using birch bark or dry cotton virtually every time.

I was encouraged by a promotion at Militaria; before I thought it was an unnecessary gadget, but it turned out to be a great purchase. Now I use it to light my spirit stove. I don’t have to struggle with a lighter or matches – now I can make sparks easily. It’s resistant to cold and moisture.

Solid workmanship, practical colour for use outdoors (I chose orange), which makes it hard to lose. The scraper works much better than with many other fire starters. This is not just a gadget – it really works. Nothing comes unstuck or falls apart, high quality gear.

Fantastic fire starter. I don’t have much to compare with except the small fire starters added to multitools or other accessories, but it’s hard to expect a better product than Light My Fire FireSteel 2.0. Additionally, the orange colour immediately catches the eye among other accessories.

This is always the first firesteel I choose (though each is a bit different). This is one of the better ones, and apparently there are no bad firesteels – you just have to know how to use it. I bought it out of curiosity because I was encouraged by a KSK promotion at Militaria and I don't regret it (although initially the whistle didn't work, but it was replaced with a new one). Currently I have my first Light My Fire Firesteel 2.0 Bio Army with Cocoshell whistle – I recommend it!
