Trangia Kettle Large 900 ml

The kettle is very lightweight and handy. At first I thought I had been sent the smaller 600 ml model, as I expected something bigger. However, I received the 900 ml, exactly what I ordered and it works brilliantly. It will eventually be used together with other parts of the Trangia set, so the lack of a cover is not a problem. Well-thought-out design, flawless workmanship. It is wide and low, so the centre of gravity is low and it does not tip over like tall cups. I definitely recommend it, this is just the beginning of my adventure with Trangia equipment.

Compact, lightweight, yet spacious kettle. Very light and will fit even into a small backpack. Water boils in no time. Well worth buying for this price. The only thing missing is a cover, which would be handy when it gets sooty from the campfire, but that's not a problem.

Excellent product. Goes perfectly with the 25 set and complements it flawlessly. High-quality craftsmanship. I recommend it for both short and longer trips in the open air. Suitable for use both on a stove and a campfire.

I tested the kettle during a three-day trip. I managed to boil at least 9 litres of water (each time ten minutes of boiling after it started boiling, just to be safe) on a campfire. The handle remained intact. The kettle became covered with soot, which is normal. It pours easily. The lid fits well. The small spout reduces steam escaping during longer boils. The flat, wide bottom efficiently distributes heat and ensures stability. Highly recommended!
