At first, I was sceptical and cautious about this device. As I often go to the forest, despite trying different products, I regularly brought home several ticks embedded in my skin. TickLess – ultrasonic tick repeller is a compact, easy-to-use device that emits 40 kHz ultrasonic waves, inaudible to both humans and pets. The emitted signal disrupts the sensory receptors of ticks, disorienting them and making it difficult for them to locate a host. As a result, the parasite cannot distinguish humans from their surroundings. The product is ideal for outdoor activities – in the forest, garden, while camping, fishing, or during survival expeditions – wherever there is a risk of tick contact. Ticks can transmit dangerous diseases, such as Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis, so using TickLess significantly reduces the chance of bites and infection.
NOTE: Even when used correctly, a tick may still land on the skin or clothing. However, the signal reduces the chance of the tick attaching itself to the host.
Operating range, IP13 rating
Ticks use the Haller's organ on their front legs to detect hosts. The ultrasonic waves interfere with this sensory organ, making it difficult for the parasite to locate prey. The effective range is about 2 meters, creating a protective zone. For optimal effectiveness, TickLess should be worn on the outer layer of clothing – easily clipped to a belt, backpack, or other gear – allowing the sound waves to spread freely.
The housing is made of durable plastic, and the device is moisture-resistant in accordance with IP13 standard. However, it should not be immersed or exposed to direct contact with water.

TickLess is an eco-friendly solution – it emits no chemicals and is very simple and convenient to use. It is completely safe for pregnant women, children, the elderly, and people with pacemakers, making it a safe alternative to chemical repellents, which may cause allergic reactions in some cases.
Device operation
To activate the device, remove the safety tab – this starts the system. Then press the button; four green LED flashes confirm the device is working. While active, the LED flashes green every 5 minutes. It shuts off automatically after 8 hours but can be turned off manually – a long red flash confirms deactivation. Total operating time is approximately 3000 hours.

I used the device and didn’t have any ticks, so I hope it's effective. The sounds it emits are, in my opinion, barely audible – you have to hold it to your ear to hear them.

Great gadget for countryside trips and forest walks – TickLess Human Green protects with ultrasound (range of about 2 metres), no chemicals and it works for a long time – up to 3000 hours. It’s light and really cool!

The device works discreetly and is easy to wear. After walks I noticed fewer ticks on myself. Although it doesn't offer 100% protection, it gives a sense of safety.

I spend several hours in the forest every day and so far haven't brought home any ticks. It used to happen sometimes, so it probably works. Sometimes I keep the device in my side pocket because I'm afraid I'll lose it off my belt. Unfortunately sometimes I accidentally turn it off at work, so I need to check on it. An ultrasonic device that really works and is effective. Small, handy, doesn't make any sound. The big plus is the lack of chemicals. One must remember, however, that no repeller is one hundred percent guaranteed and if you encounter a lot of ticks, something may happen. I recommend the product and the Militaria.pl shop.

My wife and I have been using this device for two years, and in that period no tick has attached to us, despite us being outdoors almost every day. My wife previously had Lyme disease six times, always diagnosed early. As botanists, we meet many people with tick problems, but rarely does anyone bring more than 2-3 ticks. Reports about a dozen, as written earlier, are exaggerated.

It seems that the device really works. I bought it for my wife, who always used to bring back ticks after every walk in the forest or park. Throughout the whole season with Tickless she didn't have a single tick, and after nearly a year the device still works.

I would give zero stars, but you can’t do that – I honestly envy those for whom the device helped. In my case, after two walks with TickLess on my belt, I returned home with a dozen or so ticks. You could say ‘only’ a dozen, as I was removing some on the go. I returned the product, but the complaint process at Militaria.pl was quick and positive.

The product is worth its price. As always, products from this brand are of excellent quality – there’s nothing to complain about. I’ve been using it for two years and haven’t had a tick bite even once. The dogs also have the animal version on their collars and don’t bring ticks from walks either. Thanks to this, we can walk in the forest without fear.
