TickLess Eco Ultrasonic Tick Repeller - for humans

TickLess Eco - ultrasonic tick repellent is a small, handy device that emits 40 kHz ultrasonic sounds that are inaudible to humans and pets. These interfere with the host's orientation and tracking ability by blocking the sensory receptors of ticks. This makes it impossible for the tick to distinguish its potential prey from its surroundings.

The device is ideal for trips to the woods, spending time in the allotment, fishing, camping, bushcraft expeditions and all other outdoor activities when you are exposed to tick bites.

Ticks use the Haller organ located on the foot of the first leg to identify potential prey. The ultrasound emitted from the device effectively blocks ticks from receiving stimuli from this sensory organ. The range is approximately 2 metres, providing effective protection. TickLess should be worn on the top layer of clothing to ensure that the ultrasonic waves propagate freely. It can be conveniently clipped to a rucksack, belt or other item of clothing.

Ticks carry diseases that are dangerous to humans, such as Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis. By using the TickLess ultrasonic tick protection, the risk of being bitten and therefore infected and seriously ill is minimised.

TickLess Eco is completely harmless to the environment, emitting no chemicals. It is made of biodegradable plastic. When the device stops working, open it and separate the casing from the other parts. The housing can be disposed of in a compost heap or buried in the ground - it has been manufactured from materials that decompose within a few months. In addition, it is moisture resistant according to IP13, but direct contact with water should be avoided.

To switch on the device, pull the pin (it is then activated), then press the button. Four green LED flashes indicate that the TickLess has been switched on and is operating. During operation, the device flashes a single green LED every 5 minutes. The device switches off automatically after 8 hours and can also be switched off using the button, indicated by one long red LED flash. The operating time is approximately 3,000 hours.

TickLess is completely harmless to pregnant women, young children, people with pacemakers and the elderly, making it an excellent alternative to chemical repellents, which can cause allergic reactions in some cases.
