Texar ECWCS II Fleece - Grey
Warm fleece jacket in Grey providing effective thermal insulation even in very low temperatures. Can be used as a standalone outer layer or as a fleece liner under the Grom jacket.

Made of 230 g/m2 fabric, it provides protection against cold while allowing excess heat and moisture generated during activity to escape. The inside features a mesh lining with a weight of 75 g/m2. The back is slightly extended to protect the lower back from drafts. Nylon reinforcements on the shoulders and elbows increase the jacket’s durability.

The model is equipped with two hip pockets and one chest pocket, all with zip closures to securely store small items.

The main closure is a zipper that facilitates fit and ventilation adjustment. The bottom of the jacket is finished with a drawcord, and elastic cuffs at the wrists are adjustable with hook-and-loop fasteners. The high collar provides good protection for the neck against cold and wind.

The product is exactly as described, worth its price. The fleece fabric is very good quality at a favourable price. The sleeves are reinforced. The fleece is comfortable and easy to wear, very practical under a jacket or on its own – high-class material, good stitching and sturdy zips. The sweatshirt is warm and protects against the wind. It is comfortable, practical, and has a nice lining. I am very happy with the purchase and highly recommend it.

Very good fleece with a nice lining. Warm, with large and roomy pockets, the contents of which are not in the way. Loose fit. In my opinion, even more comfortable than the Helikon classic. I recommend it.

The fleece matches the description and is comfortable to wear. It's worth checking the size chart before buying – I usually buy M, but this time, after checking the chart, I chose S and it fits well.

Nice, warm fleece, but the seams are coming apart. This is the second TEXAR fleece I've had with this problem. The sizes are oversized – if you normally wear M, choose S and it will fit. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Durable fleece, I've been using it for 5 years already and it still works well, although it lacks a few modern extras. When I bought it, it was half the price of new models. It has useful pockets, Velcro and sturdy reinforcements on the shoulders – great for carrying wood. The workmanship is high quality, just as you’d expect from Texar.

Warm, great fit, and gives the impression of being a solid fleece. The only downside is the zip in the collar is too long, which is annoying when the fleece is used as a liner in a jacket. It could also use loops on the sleeves and collar for attaching it to a jacket. I’m knocking off a star for these shortcomings.

For this price, the product is excellent. The thickness is medium, ideal for spring with a short sleeve. Maybe the sizing is a bit underestimated, but the size chart is accurate – for me (90 kg, 176 cm) size M fits perfectly. Highly recommended.

The fleece is well made, there are no loose threads, even at the Velcro finishes. It has a nice cut and excellent appearance. Whether it will be warm remains to be seen, but it gives the impression of a solid product. If I had to buy again after these first experiences, I would choose it again.
