Texar CWU Flyers Jacket - Black

In my opinion, the best jacket in this category. It’s two jackets in one: on one side flyers, on the other jacket styled after an aviation jacket from the Second World War. The material is very durable, waterproof and strong. The jacket is very warm – only the neck is exposed, but thanks to the jacket, the rest of the body doesn’t get cold. The large number of pockets is very practical. As for the size, it’s best to try it on before buying. Nevertheless, I recommend buying through Militaria, as there are no issues with returns or exchanges if needed.

Brilliant winter jacket, I’ve been using it as my only jacket for four seasons (autumn, winter, spring). No signs of wear, the material is very strong and solid. As many as 7 large and practical pockets. The fit is wide: with 184 cm and 100 kg, XL allows you to dress in layers comfortably. The workmanship is fine, typical for Texar – sometimes there are threads hanging and uneven seams, but at this price (bought for just over 200 PLN) I couldn’t find anything similar elsewhere. If it wears out, I’ll buy the same one again. I recommend it!

For me, this jacket is a hit. I wore it all winter even at very low temperatures, with only a T-shirt underneath – and I didn’t get cold! It doesn’t soak through in the rain, and once indoors you just shake it off and there’s no trace of water. I’ve been using it for three years and I know that if it wears out, I’ll buy another exactly the same. I hope Texar will continue selling it for a long time.

Great winter jacket, I’ve been using it for 4 years now during the autumn and winter seasons and early spring as my only one. There are no signs of wear, the material is very durable and sturdy. It has 7 large and practical pockets. The sizes are big – with my measurements of 184 cm/100 kg, XL allows me to wear a thick jumper or fleece underneath. Satisfactory quality, although as with Texar – there are some loose threads and uneven seams, but for example, Helikon doesn’t offer such a simple and cheap model (I bought it 4 years ago for just over 200 PLN). If it gets damaged, I’ll buy the same one again. I recommend it!

The jacket is very warm. Although the neck is not covered, the rest of the body stays warm. Lots of pockets is a big plus. Regarding the size, it’s best to try it on before buying. Even so, it’s worth ordering through Militaria, because there are no problems with returns and exchanges here.

The jacket is very comfortable. At a height of 190 cm and weight of 97 kg, I chose XL and it fits perfectly. Very pleasant inside. Lots of pockets is a huge plus. The neck is a bit exposed when worn, but you can raise the collar and it’s fine. Whether zipped up or open, it looks great. At -2 degrees, just a T-shirt underneath is enough.

I’m happy, I recommend it.

The jacket is fine. I currently use it in winter during mild temperatures – it's warm and doesn't restrict movement. Just right for the city or for a short trip out of town.
