Texar CWU Flyers Jacket - Black

In my opinion, the best jacket in this category. It's two jackets in one: one side flyers, the other styled like a WWII aviator jacket. The material is very durable, waterproof, and sturdy. The jacket is very warm – only the neck is exposed, but thanks to it, the rest of the body doesn't get cold. The large number of pockets is very practical. Regarding size, it's best to try it on before buying. Still, I recommend ordering through Militaria, as returns or exchanges are hassle-free if needed.

Fantastic winter jacket, it has served as my only one for four seasons (fall, winter, spring). No signs of wear, the material is very strong and solid. As many as 7 large, practical pockets. The cut is wide: at 184 cm and 100 kg, XL allows for comfortable layering. The workmanship quality is fine, typical for Texar – sometimes threads hang out and seams are uneven, but at this price (bought for just over 200 PLN), I couldn’t find anything similar elsewhere. If it gets worn out, I’ll buy the same one again. I recommend it!

For me this jacket is a bullseye. I wore it all winter even at very low temperatures, with just a T-shirt underneath – and I wasn’t cold! It doesn’t soak through in the rain, and when you come inside, just shake it off and there’s no trace of water. I’ve been using it for the third year now and I know that if it wears out, I’ll buy another one exactly the same. I hope Texar will keep selling it for a long time.

Great winter jacket, I've been using it for 4 years already in the fall-winter seasons and early spring as my only one. No signs of wear, the material is very durable and solid. It has 7 large, practical pockets. The sizes are large - with my measurements of 184 cm/100 kg, XL allows me to wear a thick sweater or fleece underneath. Satisfactory quality, although, as with Texar, there are a few hanging threads and uneven seams, but for example, Helikon doesn’t offer such a simple and cheap model (I bought it 4 years ago for just over 200 PLN). If it gets worn out, I’ll buy the same one again. I recommend it!

I think this is the best jacket of this type. 2 jackets in one: on one side flyers, on the other a pilot jacket from World War II times. The fabric is fantastic – durable and waterproof. The jacket is very warm. True, the neck is not covered, but the rest of the body stays warm. Lots of pockets are a big plus. When it comes to size, it’s best to try on before buying. Still, it’s worth ordering from Militaria because there are no problems with returns and exchanges here.

The jacket is very comfortable. At 190 cm in height and 97 kg in weight, I chose XL and it fits perfectly. Very pleasant inside. Lots of pockets is a huge plus. Once on, the neck is a bit exposed, but you can lift the collar and it’s fine. Whether zipped or unzipped, it looks great. At -2°C, just a T-shirt underneath is enough.

I’m satisfied, I recommend it.

The jacket is fine. I’m currently using it in the winter during mild temperatures – it’s warm and doesn’t restrict movement. Perfect for the city or a short trip out of town.
