Santoku knife, an Asian version of the European chef's knife - characterised by a shorter and wider blade. This enables the efficient transfer of cut vegetables or meat, e.g. to a frying pan or wok.
The blade with a Drop-Point profile is made of AUS-8 stainless steel, hardened to 58-59 HRC and finished in the stonewash technique. One of the characteristics of this steel is its high chromium content, which ensures high corrosion protection. This makes the knife ideal for kitchen work.
The handle is made of polypropylene with a texture reminiscent of a golf ball, ensuring a firm grip even when the hand is wet or dirty. It is finished with a hole that allows the knife to be hung on a kitchen hanger.
