A leather jacket featuring a fit similar to the well-known flyer-style flight jackets, inspired by the model used by the Bundeswehr. The outer shell is crafted from 100% buffalo nappa leather, with an orange polyester lining. The jacket closes with a two-way YKK zipper.
The German Leather Flight Jacket includes two side pockets, a chest pocket, and a shoulder pocket, all equipped with zippers. Inside, the jacket offers two additional pockets for carrying essential items.
Knitted welts are located at the collar, wrists, and waist, providing extra protection against the cold and a snug fit. There are slits under the armpits for added comfort.
The inner lining is designed in a bright orange color scheme. This distinct feature relates to the original design for USAF pilots, enhancing their visibility for rescue operations if an emergency occurred. Today, this practical design can be beneficial, such as when walking along a dimly lit road outside urban areas.

The jacket is really nice, but before wearing it for the first time, it's worth airing it out because you can smell the chemicals used in the leather tanning process.

The jacket was exchanged for size 60 and the exchange went very quickly. The jacket is very comfortable and pleasant. The only downside is the smell, but that's normal with a new natural leather jacket – it will fade over time. I definitely recommend it.

The sizing runs small. The given measurements do not match the actual sizes. I ordered size 54 according to the chart, but it turned out to be definitely too small. I am returning the product and will check if size 60 will be suitable. Other than that, the jacket is really good.
