I bought them in August 2024 and I can already confidently say that these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They work well both in hot weather and in winter. They match the OSP uniform as well as jeans. After impregnation, neither water nor snow is a problem for them. Very versatile footwear.
Protektor Grom Boots Brown
Protektor Grom boots are professional footwear designed for military and tactical tasks. Their design is based on proven models of tactical boots, making them an excellent choice for uniformed services that require durable, comfortable and functional footwear. They have been created to navigate diverse urban surfaces, providing stability and protection in dynamic operational conditions.
High cowhide leather upper
The boot features a full grain cowhide upper, characterised by high flexibility and abrasion resistance. Additional inserts made of impregnated nylon reinforce the entire construction, while also providing adequate ventilation. The high upper is finished with a soft velour collar, which improves wearing comfort and minimises the risk of chafing. A 50 mm high collar at the back stabilises the foot, providing protection against injury.
Foot protection and support during movement
The heel and toe are reinforced with an extra layer of leather and rubber over the sole, providing effective protection against injury. The wearer's feet are adequately protected against impacts on hard surfaces such as kerbs, stones or armour pieces. In addition, the high sewn-in tongue protects the inside of the shoe from water ingress, making the shoe better able to protect the feet in wet conditions.
Flexible PU sole
The polyurethane (PU/PU) sole is characterised by high flexibility, abrasion resistance and resistance to oils, greases and diluted acids and alkalis. The specially designed profile provides good traction on a variety of urban surfaces such as asphalt, concrete, cobblestones and gravel. The sole allows for smooth movement on both flat and sloping surfaces, and the 13mm heel further enhances stability when walking over uneven surfaces.
The anti-static and slip-resistant properties of the sole make the shoes safe for use on slippery surfaces. The sole has been joined to the upper using a direct injection method, which ensures exceptional durability and strength.
Certified NATO workmanship
The manufacturer of Grom boots, Protektor S.A., holds the AQAP 2110:2006 certificate, which confirms compliance with NATO requirements for quality and functionality of military footwear. This is a testimony that the boots meet the highest standards required in harsh operating conditions.

This is already another purchase – great value for money. I use them every day, mainly in the city. They are quite lightweight and very comfortable. Definitely worth it at this price, many people in the unit wear them.

The price has gone up, so I'm thinking about changing the model, but after a year of intensive use of these shoes, I can say that for 260 PLN, it's a bullseye. I can confirm everything that's been written about them. They are warm, waterproof. With good care, 2-3 years of daily use, and you can start thinking about a new pair – a really good result.
-
The shoes are simply excellent. They're comfortable, and my feet stay dry even after stepping in a puddle. The price has gone up, but for 300 PLN they were a real bargain. I regret not buying another pair then.

I bought these boots for longer trips to the forest and they work great—they are durable and waterproof and made by a Polish company. I’d just advise buying additional insoles, as you can get blisters on long hikes.
-
The shoes are resistant to difficult terrain conditions. They enable safe walking on rocky and overgrown surfaces. Their high upper protects a larger part of the foot well. They're comfortable, even after several hours there's no significant fatigue.
-
Very poor shoes, they have no cushioning at all. After a short walk, your feet and toes hurt as if you had walked for a long time in difficult terrain. Not only do I have this opinion, but also several friends who use these shoes. Apparently the black Grom ones were completely different – comfortable and willingly bought. I do not recommend these brown ones.

I bought them over a year ago and they proved themselves both during 40-degree heatwaves in the Egyptian desert and in winter at minus 10 degrees with thick socks. They are not ideal for any of these situations, but at a price of 300 PLN they were sufficient. Partially waterproof, but let water in above the ankles. They are comfortable to walk in, you can do at least 25 km in them, and probably even 35 km with insoles.

Very positive surprise – extremely comfortable and light, shoes that fit the foot perfectly. I've used Haix for years but, encouraged by the reviews, I decided to try something new and I am pleasantly surprised. I recommend!

Unfortunately, I have issues with the sizing. I have black shoes from this company with a membrane in size 43 and they fit perfectly. I ordered the brown ones in the same size – but they turned out too small and narrow. I was wearing quite thin socks, so it would be even worse in winter. I returned the shoes and for now I'm holding off on buying a larger size. Maybe I'll revisit the topic in summer if my current WOT shoes prove too warm.

These are the best combat boots I've had. I used my previous pair for almost six years in various conditions – from summer to snow, from cobblestone streets to workshops, construction sites, and muddy forests. The leather stayed in good shape with basic care (washing and waxing). After trying other models, I returned to Grom boots by Protektor.

Very good shoes, they look good on the foot, so they're suitable for both outdoor and everyday use. I already have a pair myself; the next one I bought was for a friend. Definitely worth recommending.

The boots are strongly built, provide comfort and support even in difficult conditions. They are durable and resistant to various weather conditions, making them ideal for intensive outdoor activities. They fit the foot well, ensuring comfort throughout the day. Nice black colour of the Groms, I recommend them.
-
The shoes are practically indestructible – over four years I’ve walked in them through various terrains: mud, concrete, urbex... They are really sturdy, provided the insoles are glued in properly. Definitely worth recommending.

Popular Grom boots perform well. In terms of durability and workmanship, they are above average for their price. The construction is solid, it's hard to fault anything. The waterproofing is basic, tested during AirSoft games in the woods. The biggest advantages are comfort, freedom of movement, and low weight, which is why they're very popular among military boots. I recommend them!
