I bought them in August 2024 and I can confidently say that these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They work well both during heatwaves and in winter. They match both the OSP uniform and jeans. After waterproofing, water or snow is no problem for them. Very versatile footwear.

High cowhide leather upper
The boots are equipped with an upper made of grain cowhide leather, characterized by high flexibility and abrasion resistance. Additional inserts of impregnated nylon reinforce the entire structure, while providing adequate ventilation. The high upper is finished with a soft velour collar, which improves wearing comfort and minimizes the risk of chafing. A 50 mm high collar at the back stabilizes the foot, providing protection from injury.
Foot protection and support during movement
The heel and toe have been reinforced with an extra layer of leather and rubber overlaid on the sole, providing effective protection against injury. The wearer's feet are adequately protected against impacts with hard surfaces such as curbs, stones and armor components. In addition, a high sewn-in tongue protects the inside of the shoe from water ingress, making the shoe better able to protect feet in wet conditions.
Flexible PU sole
The polyurethane (PU/PU) sole is characterized by high flexibility, abrasion resistance and resistance to oil, grease, as well as dilute acids and alkalis. The specially designed profile provides good traction on a variety of urban surfaces, such as asphalt, concrete, cobblestone and gravel. The sole allows smooth movement on both flat and sloping surfaces, and the 13mm heel further enhances stability when walking over uneven surfaces.
The anti-static and non-slip properties of the sole make the shoes safe for use on slippery surfaces. The sole has been joined to the upper using a direct injection method, which ensures exceptional durability and strength.

This is already my next purchase – great value for money. I use them every day, mainly in the city. They are quite lightweight and very comfortable. Definitely worth it at this price, many people in the unit wear them.

The price has gone up, so I'm considering changing the model, but after a year of intensive use of these shoes, I can say that at 260 PLN, it's a bullseye. Everything that's been said about them, I can confirm. They're warm, waterproof. With proper care, 2–3 years of daily use, and you can start on a new pair – that's a very good result.

These shoes are just great. Comfortable, feet stay dry even after stepping in a puddle. The price has gone up, but at 300 zł they were a real bargain. I regret not buying another pair then.

I bought these shoes for longer trips to the forest and they work great – they are durable and waterproof, and also made by a Polish company. I would just recommend buying additional insoles, because on long hikes you may get blisters.

The boots are resistant to tough terrain. They allow safe movement across rocky and overgrown surfaces. Their high upper protects most of the foot. They’re comfortable—even after a few hours of use, there’s no significant fatigue.

Very poor shoes, they have no cushioning at all. After a short walk, my feet and toes hurt as if I had been walking on rough terrain for a long time. Not only I have this opinion, but also several friends who use these shoes. Apparently, the black Gromys were completely different – comfortable and popular. I do not recommend these brown ones.

I bought them over a year ago, and they proved themselves both in 40-degree heat in the Egyptian desert and in winter at -10 degrees with thick socks. They're not ideal for either situation, but for the price of 300 PLN they're adequate. They're partially waterproof, but leak above the ankles. They're comfortable for walking, you can easily cover at least 25 km, and probably 35 km with insoles.

A very positive surprise – extremely comfortable and lightweight, great fitting shoes. For years I used Haix shoes, but encouraged by reviews I decided to try something new and I am very pleasantly surprised. I recommend them!

Unfortunately, I have concerns about the sizing. I have black shoes from this company with a membrane, in size 43, and they fit perfectly. I ordered brown ones in the same size – they turned out to be too small and narrow. I was wearing rather thin socks, so it would be even worse in winter. I returned the shoes and will hold off on buying a larger size for now. Maybe I’ll revisit this in the summer if my current WOT boots turn out to be too warm.

These are the best combat boots I've ever had. I used my previous pair for almost six years in various conditions – from summer to snow, from cobblestone streets to workshops, construction sites, and forest mud. The leather, despite basic care (washing and waxing), remained in good condition. After trying other models, I returned to Protektor Grom boots.

Very good boots, they look good on the foot, so they are suitable for both outdoor and everyday use. I already have my own trusted pair and bought another for a friend. Definitely worth recommending.

Virtually indestructible shoes – over four years I walked in them through different terrains: mud, concrete, abandoned buildings... They are really solid, as long as you glue the insoles properly. Definitely worth recommending.

The popular Grom boots perform well. In terms of durability and workmanship quality, they are above average for their price. The construction is solid; hard to find anything to criticize. Waterproofing is basic, tested during AirSoft games in the forest. The biggest advantages are comfort, freedom of movement, and low weight, which is why they're very popular among military boots. I recommend them!
