These are yet another pair of socks of this type that I've bought. The previous ones, after long and intensive use in work boots, wore thin at the heels, but holes did not form in them. The merino in these socks works brilliantly – your feet do not sweat or give off an unpleasant smell, and the socks themselves are very stretchy. I think this was a very good purchase.

I purchased these to compare with my other merino blend socks, and if they would compare in performance. Indeed, very similar yet half the price. Personally I would like a bit shorter sock, but fit is otherwise good. I will probably buy more, although the grey tip plus the brand logo are not the nicest. Without those, i would probably use these all the time and in various colors. Now they will be limited to outdoor activities and home usage.

The Pentagon Alpine Merino Light socks in olive are absolutely brilliant.
